wat the ell?? u need a seperate rod/tool to remove the base plate of the mag?? on the SA80-A2 mags which exactly the same as AR mags u can remove the baseplate with ur finger!! and the spring has never 'flown' out of the internals let alone fast enough to damage anyone, just do it properly and ur fine
