  • mario gives up 2 brought me here

  • This song is so amazing!

  • I heard this in Revenge of the Sunfish! I thought it was a Megaman jam.

  • why am crying guys...? I ... just....wanna fly high

  • The smart-ass instruction booklet some Konami goofball wrote for this game was pretty hilarious.

And yeah that is some sonorous slap bass, but the king of all SNES bass tracks is the Onett music from EarthBound.

  • I appreciate a good slap bass.

  • magreklamo kayo sa konami

  • ang hirap ng stage 4

  • hehe :P

  • Come on! Let's all get on a outer spaceship adventure in another universe killing every type of alien with your buddies through mystical portals and strange planets! Let's go Gradius! Let's go to Victory!

  • Such a superb soundtrack.

  • This level always look liked you were going through a twisted earth.

  • This music is an automatic nostalgia to back in the days when I finally made it out of the damn Bubble Stage. LOL, it was an accomplishment.

  • JEEPERS CREEPERS WHERE YOU GET THOSE PEEPERS, JEEPERS CREEPERS WHERE YOU GET THOSE EYES... ... THE MEMORIES

  • For some reason that this theme very kind of remind me of Nights Dream Dream song.

  • I love the music of this stage, really got your heart pumping.

  • @TheSciFiCat So dang true!!!

  • one of the best theme on gradius 3

  • i just found my snes along with this game lol... its so much playing it... better than modern CAMPfare 2 =p

  • This is kool.

  • EPIC GAME, EPIC OST :D

  • oooh... gradius 3, the glory days , why have we grown apart *sniff* best song ever

  • awesome

my new ringtone although I'm way too old to be enjoying this hehehe

  • Gradius 3 and another game titled Ninja Warriors (or Ninja warriors again) have some of the best music on the SNES.

  • Everytime I hear this while I play, it's almost like the game is saying:

"Ok, no more fucking around, time to get serious :D"

    and you'd be like:

"OH NOES!!!" (when you start going underground)

  • Reminds me and my friend of a theme you might hear on an old Sonic the Hedgehog game. :]

  • Dude, that's very fucking true.

  • The beginning of this song sounds like some song I heard on the Simpsons...

  • Which song/episode may I ask?

  • I forget, really. It's an old one, and it involves Mr. Burns...

  • I'm a Simpsons Encyclopedia....but I need more info than that. Try to remember! I'm very interested now!!

  • For he's a jolly good fellow?

That might be it...it's that old man's retirement party and Burns doesn't really care and his party turns into a Burns show quickly. And Smithers sings a song for Burns. Ring any bells??

  • music brought a tear to my eye.....

  • I LOVE THIS SONNNNNNNNNNNGGG

  • I friggen LOVE this song.

And I love this game. I am searching for the Gradius 3-4 PS2 disk.

  • Music like this is extremely rare in games today. The only game that I can think of right now is the upcoming Contra Wiiware game. I wish the 16 bit era (along with 2d) lasted longer. It's time ended too soon. We coulda had games that looked like Wario Land Shake it and Odinsphere earlier....

  • True dat. The SNES was the epitome of 2D games. Moving to 3D with the six four changed everything, and killed alot too.

Anyway, yeah, this music combined with the powerups and the level at which you could own enemies playing this game made for some uplifting times.

This was what we had before FPS games, and it will never be seen again. I;ve got it loaded on my Wii though and a week never goes by without me and my kids playing it!

  • In my opinion 64 was the last of the great consoles.

  • They were all awesome!

  • than you dude for this amazaing upload, relly admire you! :)

  • One of my fav game tracks! Repeat it like 5 times on my ipod every time it comes on!

  • This one, cosmo plant, mechanical base, and cell were my faves!

I just love this game in general!

  • me too XD

  • great stuff!

  • I wonder why this level has A LOT of turrets...

  • Fun game lol made you feel really bad ass dodging all the bullets.

  • if you like this song:

Gradius III - In the WInd (Rearranged)

  • this was my favorite level in gradius 3 and that one level too after the 5 bosses in a row, love the music!!

  • This was also my favorite game music in Gradius 3!

  • All the musics of Gradius III are awesome! I'll miss SNES..but I heard you can download this and other games to Nintendo Wii. I'll get it whenever I have a chance.
