There's more than enough evidence that shows it has nothing to do with past DMC games and the game will run on the unreal tournament 3 engine which will have to go at 30 frames per second. Which won't work for a DMC game as it needs 60 frames to be smooth like the past games and going by NT's past games the new DMC will have a lot of bugs.

The devs haven't even bothered to fix the problems in their new games that their old ones had.

They did realize that Sparda was a demon, in the intro of the game, the head of the order makes a speech about the sacrifices and deeds of Sparda. It is there he mentions that Sparda turned against his demon brethern for the sake of mankind. So I am sure that they knew Sprda was a demon all along and worhsipped him for his mercy and compassion.

Well Nero gets more levels, but yeah Dante would just get bonus levels or anything, he'll get his own full fledged levels and move set and weapons. And he has a weapon called Pandora's Box that can turn into a whole lot of different weapons

Nero and Dante are both playable characters and both the "MAIN" characters each one with different skills and abilities Nero has the devil bringer, blue rose and red queen. He can also max out and have a spiitual Sparda ghotst enveloping him and making him amazingly kickass :).

Dante has ebony and ivory, and new sword lucifer and other weapons including gilgamesh which are gauntlets.And he also has the ability 2 change his fighting style on the go which affetc the way weapons are used. :p
