I love this!!! I've been working on spinning. I was wondering.. is there a reason you sort of "wind up" in the other direction before starting the spin? Is it neccessary for momentum of can you go right into the trick without that first part?
@Nabid1010 Thanks! :) So since I made this video, I learned you don't need to do that wind up spin to do the illusion part of the trick. I have a video called "hoop illusion variation" where you just go right into the kick...it gives enough momentum to get around so maybe if you check that out, it'll work for you. I tried adding a link to it here but it didn't work so you can go to my channel & get to it from there! happy hoopin!
hi alaskanamy i wanted to ask u a favor i always save great hooping tutorials like this one to my ipod so i can watch them while i practice in the park but for some reason i cant save this one because of the URL so i wanted to know if u would take this video off youtube and put it back on so that it would have a different URL or would u put this video on youtube twice so one of them has a different URL. If u can i would be forever greatful if u can't no problem. Thank you so much!
Unfortunately, a few weeks ago I deleted the original video off my computer to make more space! There may be a way to change the URL but I don't know how...let me know if you ever learn of a way & I would be happy to do that!
Well, I justwanted to thank you guys for taking the time to write your thoughts about this vid...I am excited to share something somewhat new & it is very rewarding to hear a good response! THANKS.
And Hoopadelic~ I would love to take a class from you if I am ever in L.A. for sure!!! And I like that, 'hoopnastics'! :-)
I LOVE it!! I'm working really hard to make my sweet tricks look more like dancing and that was inspiring.
My goal this year is to take dance classes and become more of a dancer with a hoop prop than a chick that can do some hoop tricks. These groovy videos really help...
oh sister, you are great! i LOVE this move. *thank you so much for sharing*
you are definitely a teacher and a performer - if only you were in l.a. or i were in alaska! i'd take classes in any of your sweet gymnastic style hooping (hoopnastics?). you definitely have the energy. =)

@olahenri I am happy. Life is great and I have no reason to complain, especially since I do not have the mentality of a child.

Thanks, all, for the comments!! I appreciate them. :-)
