  • problem solved for tipping over the chairs , 1 -1/2 ton car jack on each chair with a length of 2x4 pinning the jack to the ceiling. jack it up till it is tight .

  • Did you bolt the chairs to the floor? With me, it teared the backs off, and landed my upper jaw on the wooden top which nocked me out. The noise set the pitbull off who went straight for my nuts. I'n recuperating in the local hospital and medical insurance wants your addres for the bill.

  • @warjamxwarjamx14 you will see a great increase in the first month when doing tihs on a regular base, But for big noticeable in fitness without the use of steroids its training for years ( you can make great progress in 1 year), while following a good diet.

  • It's just a dip for people who prefer to work out at home. It targets the triceps(primarily), while offering benefits for your anterior delts, pecs and a wee little bit for your back. Definately something to work on. If and when you find lifting your own weight too easy, weigh yourself down with weights. Pro workout bud, good thing you didn't buy those chairs at Costco or Ikea!

  • These are a tricept exercise primarily, chest is secondary. Just do angled push ups, inclined or declined.

  • these r dipps nd actually work mostly on ur lats(under ur armpit on ur side to round the back) and triceps(back of the uper arms) it actualy does little 4 ur chest if u want to do ur chest pushup veriations and bench press get the fastest muscle gain theirs aint no messin with it

  • @aruoriwonoble actually yea you will get a bit more arm, but not that much in my opinion, since you'r pushing yourself up means that you'r biceps and triceps are doing they're work and they grow depending on how much you weight and how often you do this

  • I'm sorry but I'm not feeling anything in my chest. Do you think this would be better then doing weighted pushups to failure/then normal pushups to failure/then knee pushups to failure? Because I am feeling absolutly no burn when i can't do anymore

  • the chairs collapse on me when I try this.... I put the chairs on the floor sideways, and holding the legs of the chairs with my hands while my feet are resting on the bed nearby, I do these same dips. The bad part is that I am probably only lifting about 60% of my bodyweight vs your 100%. However given the fact that I can barely do 4-5 dips in the gym with good form, this is probably a good thing, at least in the beginning.

  • i do these in the gym these are amazing for ur chest and shoulders and back. but hey if u cant do these right away heres a tip. get like a bench of small table kind of and set it between the chairs under you. and jump all the way up dont do a dip, and go down very slow. it does almost the same thing and its easier and gets ur body used to it. thats how i started them and within probly 2 weeks i could do 10 no problem

  • @Crazyforlng2 Hm, I realise dip involves shoulder movement which is completed by front deltoids, but I don't feel them when doing this exercise. Various planches are best for front deltoids. They work primarily when arms are straight.

  • @gindaer These give more weight for you to push, while being easier than handstand pushups. they also work the lower chest more. A combination of both would get the best result.
