Have 2 vinyls of the movie's soundtrack...1st one got worn out....Great to see this here...Great music hidden for so long...
Good to see it getting the public audience it has deserved from the beginning. Thanks to all the folks who've put a share here on youtube of the wonderful music from this movie...
Great memories of 1968 when I saw this movie with my friend. We were 17 at the time and were totally blown away. Of course I bought the soundtrack album and wore it out. Today I don't really care about the movie just the appreciation of being alive in those days.
This film was a landmark in my life when I lived in Santos(Brasil). After that time(1967) I never heard about this film anymore. It's a pity because it's a good film and modern until now.
If you haven't seen this song in the film, you should. Made in 1967 and very prophetic. Great voice, great troubled performance in the film. I saw it when it came out and it rocked my world. Have never forgotten it. The forerunner of modern graphic music videos. Great film.
Wonderful to remember this from the days when my friend and I used to bunk off school to stalk Paul Jones in Denmark Street. We also sat in the cinema all one day and watched every showing of the film this comes from - Privilege - in which he played a badly-treated pop star (Steven someone), in chains and a red suit! Also starred Jean Shrimpton, who we envied dreadfully as she finished up in bed with him!! Never heard of that film since.
