This is one of my favorite Sphongle songs, and why I do agree with everyone that this is the "darker side of psychedelics" I think it's a good thing to show. Life isn't just roses and daisies. It's refreshing to see a different view....I can have all the trips I want in life, but its wonderful to get to see into someone elses eye's.
the film production and execution was really good, and the nightmare quality, as one identity calls it, gave it a nice realism. personally, obviously personally, I liked the darker aspects and the reality-unreality it brought to the song... in the words of Jane's Addiction "one must eat the other...the beauty of the moment... a sensation not unlike slapping yourself in the face"

This is one of my favourite shpongle songs, but this video seems to be rather macabre and nightmarish. It seems to show the seedy messy side of psychedelics rather than the blissful majesty and technicolor glory. I think it's not a terrible video, it just misses the mood of the song for me. I think it represents the psychedelic experience of someone in the wrong set and setting.

I feel like you turned it into a commentary on how society's views of drug use have turned one of the most profound things in nature(psychedelics) into something that is dangerous due to lack of oversight and control - Clowns running around making money off of what should be a sacred shamanic ritual.

This is one of my favorite Sphongle songs, and why I do agree with everyone that this is the "darker side of psychedelics" I think it's a good thing to show. Life isn't just roses and daisies. It's refreshing to see a different view....I can have all the trips I want in life, but its wonderful to get to see into someone elses eye's.

the film production and execution was really good, and the nightmare quality, as one identity calls it, gave it a nice realism. personally, obviously personally, I liked the darker aspects and the reality-unreality it brought to the song... in the words of Jane's Addiction "one must eat the other...the beauty of the moment... a sensation not unlike slapping yourself in the face"

what i see is a drug dealer that secretly rips off his buyers in some way, like poisoning them or diluting their experiences and making them addicted..which is why they trip so much and see triple and come back.. and he laughs at them for this.. but the irony is that he is addicted as well

This is one of my favourite shpongle songs, but this video seems to be rather macabre and nightmarish. It seems to show the seedy messy side of psychedelics rather than the blissful majesty and technicolor glory. I think it's not a terrible video, it just misses the mood of the song for me. I think it represents the psychedelic experience of someone in the wrong set and setting.

This video is incredibly well made and it goes with the song very well. I feel like you turned it into a commentary on how society's views of drug use have turned one of the most profound things in nature(psychedelics) into something that is dangerous due to lack of oversight and control - Clowns running around making money off of what should be a sacred shamanic ritual.
