I complained about this and Sideshow sent me another Indy figure FREE...so now I got 2!!! That was a sweet of them!!

I agree the face is too dark. Since I got it as a present I can't really complain... But I am anyway...

the one i have is too dark aswell.i would say that sideshow have messed this one up...

I received mine on 12/15 and the face on mine is also too dark. It was the first thing I noticed. In addition, the right hand is very red and the jacket and hat are green/olive. The colors are way off on this figure and not at all what the pictures look like. It is not realistic and is a disappointment. I notified Sideshow and e-mailed them some pics. The sculpt is great but the colors ruin it. The whole thing looks drab and lacks the realism of other Premium Format Figures.

I've seen the complaints about the coat and hat but truth be told, that doesn't bother me so much as the face. This is why I generally do not collect human characters as just the slightest issue with a human likeness in terms of sculpt and/or paint can totally destroy the overall look of the statue and it's VERY rare to have both accruate enough for me to enjoy. On Indy, the sculpt is great, but the paint is brutal.

I haven't even checked the rest of mine that closely. I couldn't get past the dark face and olive green leather jacket and hat. Mine is still in the box. Hopefully it is just a few of the figures like this and not the whole lot. If they are all like this, they should recall them until they can get it right. It's too bad because I have the John Wayne/Rooster Cogburn PFF and it is flawless. I'd like to know if anyone has received any with correct colors? I'll let you know what they say.

I've seen some photos on the SF and some looked great actually.  So looks like there is some variance in what people are receiving.

I just got an e-mail from Sideshow Returns Dept regarding the brown complexion and olive green hat and jacket. Basically their response is that "As most of our pieces for this figure feature the same coloring and shading, we will not be able to continue with a replacement. However, if you are unsatisfied with your item, you may return it for a refund of the product price only as per our Customer Satisfaction Guarantee return policy." Looks like we're SOL on Sideshow making this right.

I sent Sideshow some photos today of the head and of the other parts that are coming apart, so we'll see what happens. (My belt is coming all apart.. the holster and whip loop and all unglued and the loop pin in the belt buckle is gone.

I HATE dust and I protect my collectibles pretty hardcore lol! If I can't put it behind glass or in an acrylic case, then it stays covered and protected until I have room ;)
