Love the sound fx in this abridged version! In most anime it sounds synthesized, but in this it's so organic. Almost as if it's a human voice, but that would be an anthropomorphism.

Thanks. Yeah, on balance, I like the movie.  I'm just disappointed at the adaptation of Folken more than anything else. He was so much believable in the series and they just... Well, butchered him. But holy crap can Yoko Kano write a good musical score.

I was originally planning on having him play Dornkirk, but the more I explored this version of Folken and the interaction with singing bitch, the more adding Dornkirk seemed like a needless idea. Plus it wouldn't have looked all that good as the series and movie have pretty radically different looks.
