This song came in my mind right now. Fave song by Southern Sons. I was right here at this concert too with my 2 girlfirends Alison, Laura and Wookie. These 2 friends are also hooked up with me on f/book. We were in grade 9. Johnny Farnham was also here. Pretty cool considering they r both similar. That was a big thing then :-)

Stage names are very common. Its a combination of his dad's name and his mother's remarried name. Do your research and find out who Reginald Dwight is... :-)

OMG I remember watching this, it was the very first Australia Music Day and it was simulcast on Triple M. I taped this on an audio cassette from the radio. I had the biggest crush on Jack, and his voice is amazing, even now. Long live the Sons, they were brilliant!!!!!

His real name is Irwin Thomas and he's been gigging non-stop for the past few years (solo gigs, and with his band Electric Mary, as well as She Said Yes).
