The first song I ever heard of Jay Brannan's was Housewife. A friend sent me a mix CD of somesongs he thought I would like and I absolutely fell in love with it. Anyway Soda Shop is the second song I heard and by that time I just loved the majority of the music that was put out. It was so awesome.

Not trying to be mean, but Shortbus should have been flagged. There was "adult content" in it. There weren't just sex scenes, people were LITERALLY having sex in the film. It was like watching porn with a better storyline.

I watched Shortbus last night and it was great fun. Loved the line from depressed Jamie when he was in tears in the cupboard room with Severin and he talked about having re-read the dreams he wrote down when he was 12 and he was still looking for them. Great stuff. You just gotta get out there and chase them or you end up lost. I read lots of reports about Shortbus and they all talk of "explicit" sex. I guess the people writing that don't do sex properly, hence the significance of the film.
