.......You used save states, didn't you? I heard the music pause every now and again as you played whenever you went to dodge rings.

....not that I really mind, of course. However; if you DID use them, then I'd like to see a run WITHOUT the use of Save States. I'd be REALLY impressed then.

Those aren't save states. I had unregistered fraps which can record only 30 seconds of footage at a time. So I had to pause, stop and start recording again and then edit it together (that became somewhat of a bad habit later on). I was still a n00b at editing back then, so that's why you hear a few skips in the music.
