this bundle broke me from my addiction of piracy and torrenting! this, in my opinion is the best way to fight piracy, i mean you can pay like 5 bucks for like 11 games, WHO WOULDN'T DO THAT. it probobly takes 30 times the effort to torrent all the games and stuff when you could just buy the indie bundle and you get them on steam and everything

It's great that at least one other developer mentions the unique mechanics that make these games great in a way that's almost educational.

"These games rock because of [feature]... become a better developer and learn from this." is a rare message coming from a group of developers. Usually the indie community is filled with people who are afraid to judge their own designs, thus very few create something that breaks norm of gameplay.

Braid is a bit overrated in my mind, but still a good game. The best review I've seen for the HIB2 was done by the Cynical Brit. Very long, very funny. I like his comments while playing Braid. Especially the remarks about reading the storyline, "...do you want to read any of these? No no no no, you absolutely do not..."

Disagree a bit in machinarium. It's not that innovative, just a basic puzzle adventure. I think the best thing about it is the atmosphere of the broken, cute and empty robotland = the magnificent art and the brilliant machine-heavy yet organic music.

I think you got Braid wrong. The best part of Braid is the writing and story imo. The puzzle element, while excellent, is more of a way to communicate these.

I got it and I've just completed braid - seen a review of that previously but the real thing was much better - not just rewinding time, but: rewinding time by x position, non-rewinding objects, your shadow reliving your past time, slowing time locally.

Also completed Revenge of the titans: super-cool. The tech tree requires quite complex strategy to tech up right and beat hard difficulty plus lots of fun.

Now onto the next few!

Buy it - it's great. I already had Brad - very good game - and was mostly interested in Machinarium which is really beautiful.

I lieke Osmos too. The other two are not really my piece of cake though the first few levels of Revenge of the Titans were fun.Those who like hectic and Tower Defense I suppose will find it fun and play it much more than me.

Nice tour. I have been off and on with Titans since I bought the bundle, and I have to say, it is punishingly hard. Doing your best to balance what you need and what you can do without, is really difficult, especially when it comes to later levels.
