I can't believe this song is on youtube! I played this in middle school as a viola (as did everyone who commented here seems to have done) and this stands as one of my favorite songs to have ever played in my tenure as an orchestra (along with Adagio for Strings).
And might I say, beautiful rendition, and as everyone else has said, I LOVED THE SOLI.
We're playing this at my school for our Fall Musical. Our teacher almost made me cry cause he was like, "play this with emotion, like you just lost someone close to you."
