Again, I wasn't criticizing. I said if it works for you, then my post is irrelevant.
Its just not what I'm used to. For me personally when I try and overemphasize certain things I feel like the power and speed goes down. But that's just me.
I personally think the rising and sinking motions are a little over emphasized. The spine is supposed to be bent in a "C" shape so that it can straighten when strking high, and bend back down into a "C" when striking low. Not dropping the stance itself. The stance is supposed to be rigid.
Not really what I'm used to but if you can make it work then what I'm used to is irrelevant.
@sangtawon before you post something like that. gotta think about who's holding the camera. his teacher made a name for himself for a reason. not being hostile, just that his teacher's link brought me here.
this is good. whoever doesn't think so, should touch hands with this guy. He offered his contact info. some might not criticize only because it doesn't look like theirs. even wing chun and hung gar in vietnam is slightly different but still traditional.
A Human Being got only 2 hands & 2 legs + a Head, so no matter what you tried do, there will be some similarity looks in their forms. Sometime things may look similar but that doesnt mean they came from the same root. For everyone that think VN came from China is dead wrong and ignorance. VN and China are two differences race and country. China took over VN for 1000 years, but that doesnt mean that VN & China were related. Ex: Mexico speaks Spanish, does that mean the Mexicans came from Spain?
Anyone who practices real kung fu can see it in a few steps. Sure real way is to touch hands but since you say this isn't good. show me what is. if you cant then STFU dude.
OK, come and try to burn my house. Let me know who you are and when coming. So, I can be ready to see you and how your bai mei novice perfect stance look like.
Trying to learn martial arts from Chinese in Vietnam. Chinese came to Vietnam to make living because they can not live in their native land but they don't accept their adopted country. If you are too good so just help people learn your own style. Thanks and have a good day!

@22155Bachmi interesting. Could you show how this could be applied in a fight? I am curious as to how each move could be used.
Thanks!
