In japan, Gyakugen Saiban (Ace Attorney) was released on GBA. When it gained a popularity then it appeared as a NDS version in europe and USA. Only Apollo Justice (which they're talking about here) was relkeased on newest nintendo handhelt at the time: Nintendo DS.
