@charifstar Part 1: Yeah he didn't want a fifth season because fox (though i also blame many of the so called fans)had ruined the show already by the forth season by brining Sara back to life. The character was supposed to die and it was incredibly sad when she did, but it progressed the story as well as Michele's character. it opened up a whole new range possibilities for him and the show and it looked like we were going to se a darker side to him.

@charifstar Part 2: but then they just undid all that by bringing her back to life, just because so many "fans" screamed you can't kill her, even though her death was such a integral part of the story. it would be like if Shakespeare had written a 6th act to Romeo and Juliet where he brings them back to life just so it could have a happy ending. If he had done that then it would never have gone down as a timeless classic tragedy and would have simply been a generic love story.

@charifstar Part 3: not every story has to have a happy ending, sad endings can move so much more and make you reflect on life and death and are usually more original. i was a true fan of Michel and Sera's love story and it is because of this that i feel she should have stayed dead as Paul Schuring originally intended, and anyone who calls themselves a fan of theres but wanted her to come back should be ashamed of themselves, there the people who ruined this show.

@charifstar Part 4: Wentworth Miller wanted out because Paul Schering had already left and he knew that the show had caved in to network and "fan" pressure, and he knew that fox were making it formulaic and cheesy instead of it evolving in to the brilliance that it could have.

@charifstar Part 5 There's is nothing wrong with characters dying or sad or bad things happening to them. That's what great story telling is. Watch Six Feet Under, watch The Sopranos or The Wire to see how great television can be when networks give righters freedom to tell the stories they want to tell. i would have loved to have seen Prison Break the way Paul Schering intended to to play out, it sounded like a much better story.
