The problem is, Brett is only doing toys and that playhouse crap that entertains kids under the age of 4. Wayne got to do A Christmas Carol as well as Run away Brain and the entire House of Mouse. Now if they made an "Epic Mickey" movie, or other things to bring some credit back to the mouse for what he used to be, then that would be awesome!

Tony Anselmo doing Donald is still the real thing. Direct lineage from Clarence Nash and Walt's original Animators. Brett didnt meet any of them and his falsetto sounds forced. The rockstar Mickey Brett did shows he doesnt understand Walt's character. Wayne would never let Mickey do that rockstar or popstar Mickey. Wayne always looked out for Mickey Mouse! You think this guy is better than me, yet you have only listened to his voice and not mine. Yet hundreds of people that I have done the voice for, said I should go to corporate and tell them of my talent. Just saying.

@arubiano1997 I have to admit, he is really good, but he makes mickey sound like he is nervous all the time and makes him sound scared in sentences where he should be happy. Also, mickey's voice has become much lower than the original voice (that of Walt Disney himself) so I base my voice off of the real character and not these guys........"JUST SAYING".

WOW! Bret sounds exactly like Wayne here! All the other recordings from him I've heard are higher-pitched and with a slightly different accent (I keep thinking he needs to work on the Mickey accent or at least give him more squeak and less of a breathy sound), but this is spot on!

@Superstarseven Right on, I just hope Disney gives him more opportunities to use his magnificent voice, I would be depressed to see that he's only confined to doing that preschool show for his entire career. I love Tony Anselmo! He is so cool! He and I have the same birthday, in fact. Haha. And Bret is doing a great job as Mickey. The only thing that doesn't really settle with me is the softness of Mickey's voice. He's starting to sound more and more feminine as the years pass... But that's just my opinion :)
