  • Jim had such a nice smile!

  • Greetings from Croatia!

  • that base is over powering

  • is it just me or does this sound better than all the attempts by dylan and the band at this kind of music ? well, what can be expected from a dude born & raised in minnesota? he just ain´t got it .

  • They make it look so easy and natural. You can tell they love doing it. And we get to enjoy it. Thanks Jim and Jesse.

  • The very best in Bluegrass Music.Love this song.

  • No doubt who the banjo player is..........Garland Shuping!

  • My favorite version of Nine Pound Hammer.

  • The guy on the sound board missed the banjo mike!-oh well- I loved Jim and Jessie and saw them many times-the music is timeless!

  • This is great. I love Jim and Jesse. For a hauntingly starke and real (and very cool) version of this song check out Johnny Cash's version.

  • Ahhh.... I could chill here for a while. Thanx!

  • Jim and Jesse's version of this song is the best!!!

  • What's better than this?? for sure the best music ever!

  • Great song.

  • Nice collection of Jim & Jessie. Jim has a nice alto voice. Who is the ''kid'' helping with harmony?? We saw Jessie last year at The Grand Ole Opry. He was good. An "animal" on Mandolin.

  • It was more than likely Garrett McReynolds, Jesse's grandson. Garrett's sister Amanda Lynn sings with Jesse a lot too. THey are great live!

  • It's Jesse's son Keith.

  • I agree. Best version I've heard.

  • best version of this song ever done. PERIOD

  • This is LOVE!! It's AWESOME!

  • thanks for posting this. I love their version of Nine pound hammer. Such great stuff.

  • I love Jim & Jesse's version of this song. From the strong, high lonesome vocals, to the sweet cross picking on the mandolin. perfect! thanks for posting this!
