This is what made their feud so great. Jericho being an Asshole to Malenko and it helped Malenko gain sympathy from the crowd and to me 1998 was A great year from Malenko as he got the biggest pop at slamboree.

The build up in general put Malenko over. I will agree though, Jericho was able to use his strengths on the microphone to hide Malenkos weakness in promos.

@johnnycitystar I agree. Jericho was an obnoxious punk and I wanted so much for Malenko to finally get his hands on this snot nosed little punk and beat the living hell out of him. But it always seemed like Jericho was always a step ahead of him with his many loopholes, but it really made it worth it for Malenko to finally get at that little weasel and make him pay for the comments he made about his father.
