  • i remember them tunnels when i was about 6-7 and they scared the shit outta of me even now in this moment O_O

  • Yes Gary mate! I know this is 4 years since uploading but I've only just discovered these uploads. Have to say - made my day! Thanks go out to you (and your sky+ box?)

  • Wow, this was Knightmare getting into its stride, combining so many good elements. New intro made it feel fresher too as the original opening, despite being good, was looking outdated by now. Based on the first team they appear older and 'get' spyglasses now (as they were introduced in the last series).

  • I claim false advertising from the new intro. The dungeoneer would take triple the time with half the agility than the guy in the intro due to the usual blithering idiots guiding him/her.

  • @ItsMrPea

LOL...they do seem to show things in a very differant light in the intro....Or maybe the guy in the intro is lord fear going to work each day ;).

  • Actually watched every one of your knightmare vids, its driving the mrs bonkers lol.

  • I used to rush home from school to watch Knightmare on the tv, now i rush home from work to watch Knightmare on my computer

  • um lord fear..... your camera overlooking the caldron or what ever it is is shaking in the opening

  • THIS IS THE OPENING I REMEMBER!

  • the new opening shows how dumbass the dungoneers are getting these days XDDD

  • @thesilversupporter I preferred the original opening too - Series 6 onwards seemed far easier than previous ones.

  • Oh I like the new theme even if I do miss the old one and the opening is more true to what actually happens in the show even if it is somewhat exaggerated.

I really like the effects this season; I love the way the platforms rose in the quest choice room.

Also, Matt has nice legs. :P

  • The best team ever. A pleasure to watch them guide Matt, and a pleasure to watch Matt's interaction with the game and it's characters.

    Superb.

  • His name is Razor!!!

  • Now then the fun begins. This is my personal favourite season of Knightmare X)

  • Is it just me or does the advisor in the green shirt look just like an older version of Daniel "Harry Potter" Radcliffe?

  • Yay, dwarf tunnels and dramatic music, good memories

  • Omg i so LOVED this show as a kid and i still do lol! :D

  • 3:21 they bought back the dwarf tunnels, which is brilliant and look at them, they're not computer generated, they look so real.

  • this series introduce my favourite opening title sequence.

    Especially the moment at 0:55 - 1:01

  • Razor? What kind of name is that?!

  • @swifty64 Better that having "Nugget Nostrils" as a name.

  • How unbelievably random

  • @swifty64 I know. I was born random.

  • i remember this use 2 be on a friday about half 4 i was about 11 at the time happy days lol

  • I'm surprised to actually remember this episode, especially Pickle going on about how unfamiliar it is.

  • I never had an era of Knightmare but somehow i remember 5+6 the most... Maybe because they're my favs!

  • Series 6, 7 and 8 was my era, I remember the new titles as if it was yesterday!

  • glenntoogood & vivacox, you forgot that season 6 is also the first time where the tension music is used - whenever I heard that I used to hide behind a cushion!

  • @NuttyGooner82 Was it only in season 6? One of my abiding memories of Knightmare is the 'Brown Trousers' music. Although I hid behind the door and sometimes left the room completely, so you were probably braver than I.

  • Bloody hell they probably needed to get a bigger helmet to stick on that kid.

  • His hear nearly reaches the top of the dwarf tunnels. They obviously didn't expect kids to be this tall

  • Lord Fear was always creepy in this, loved it XD

  • Season 6...the pinnacle of Knightmare in terms of its popularity and arguably in terms of its internal game play as well. The traditionalists will argue that it's completely unrecognisable from the original three series but in its current incarnation has combined so many elements together successfully. Lord Fear's character embellished has given the term opposition an enhanced meaning, and having him accessible throughout the early levels with the spyglasses brings the danger that much closer...

  • ...to the dungeoneers who otherwise wouldn't have experienced the "opposition" til level 3. The solely castle based rooms have given way and what we're left with is a fusion of the traditional dungeon style rooms and set ups but with the feeling of expanse. Also some seriously threatening rooms are littered throughout to kill off inept dungeoneers...the corridor of blades and the newly expanded Fright Knight Causeway will test the bests manoeuvrability, and a solid new intro. Here we go...

  • * The only season where the quest for the Cup was never attempted. Hence why it was the first quest in the next season.

    * First dwarf tunnels since Season 3

    * Last season for the first helmet

    * Smirkenorff speaks for the first time

    * Its the last season we see causeways too

  • Series 6 brilliant challenge but is shame I like to joying this to be a team to guide the dungeoneer The quest I choose the cup with my 3 friends.

  • That boy is SO TALL! Makes a change from all the wee kids!

Also I totally remember that opening credit sequence from my childhood.

  • Razor?!

  • 6:20 - quite a jarring placement for the table on a fake background, methinks.

    Still, a fantastic start anyway!

  • so you li9ke to play games

  • Oh look, it's Harry Potter.

  • Lol it is uncanny - sounds like him as well

  • Oooh, I LOVE the scary dwarf tunnels in this season.

  • Yeah, I completely forgot about these.

  • Quite a pretty cool new opening.

  • i'd love the dungeoneer to actually run...

    get your rearside!

  • I rather suspect, even before health and safety became our guiding light, that would have been rather problematic given the fact they were actually on green screen.

  • green screen yes but there will still physical obstacles such as the rotating wheel, the tables they climb on and the balance beams. certainly they didn't drop to a bottomless pit but you can see some of the slips and trips would make you wince at least!

  • i was wrong i thought i started watching season 5 of knightmare as a kid but its definitely season 6 i started watching it at (i was only about 8/9 yrs old at the time lol!) thats the opening credits i remember seeing & in my personal opinion i liked the music & this opening the best out of all 3 & im looking forward to feeling alot of nostalgia watching this season thanks gary!

  • I tohught Lord Fear was funny as well as scary his banter with sly was always good for a laugh. Plus the whole show got more real when he appeared. Plaese bring it back.

  • Razor?!

  • I remember all three opening sequences knightmare was my favourite programme as a kid they should've made more I was devastd when they stopped

  • 4:41 the quest

  • interesting to go back to choosing quest object in the quest- I thought their idea last season was good as it speeded this pointless part up...shame

  • now thats the opening I remember!XD

  • I remember it too especially the snake just popping its head out trying to bite

  • i fuckin loved this show as a kid, these are the opening credits i remember better

  • nice1!

  • Oh lord, I'm not liking the opening credits. Still, they haven't wasted any time getting started...

  • Finally, season six! YAAAAAY! Thanks Gary!

  • perhaps my second favriot session next to 7 an 3, great stuff, thanks for uploading gary.

  • Yay! more knightmare!

  • OMG, i absolutely loved this series when i first saw it. Mind u, like elwsimon, my obsession started with this so it's a big landmark to me

  • You rule! (Gary)

  • Cheers mate HAHA! More episodes will be upped tomorrow. :-)

  • Brilliant! :P Season 6-8 are my total favourites... Glad you've put them up! I've been a Fan since they showed it on CITV. XD

  • I liked this season alot too. I hope you enjoy it mate. :-D

  • YES!!! Series 6, I seem to remember that I liked this series best - or maybe this was just when my Knightmare obsession was at its peak.

Anyway - GaryGarratt you are a legend!

  • @elwsimon This series was when I discovered it too.
