  • This is actually the first time I've heard Scott Bradley's music in a non-MGM Cartoon.

Imagine if he was kept at Universal instead of MGM. oh, the scores that he could have done!

  • @Mr111989 I know. He would have made brilliant scores for Universal. But maybe his calling at MGM was probably meant to be.

  • SCOTT BRADLEY OUTSIDE MGM???!!!!! NOW I've seen everything.

  • Wherefore the timecode?

  • Sounds like Scott Bradley's opening Universal/series title card cue prepares him for writing the MGM lion cues that he would do later on for Avery & co.

  • That's a great music cue for the Universal logo. Now I'm going to miss it every time I see a Walter Lantz cartoon.

  • That voice-over narration is strange. It's as if the filmmakers decided at the last minute that the story wasn't clear enough without dialogue.

  • @deadlyshoesalesman

You make a very interesting point. I mean, there isn't even any lip synching with the voiceover. On the other hand, my heart's beating from simply watching the kitten and the dog's attempts to get rid of them, and thus it becomes hard to think logically on the aesthetics of this cartoon.

  • That so great and cute. Why they can't do cartoon like these today ?

  • @dragonamikan: they do but you much busy annoying all the other cartoons do notice
