I love Heavenly Creatures. It's one of my favorite films. Amazing movie. Always been interested in the true case as well.

Anne Perry has always said theres wasnt a sexual relationship between her and Pauline.

Please read her novels, they are entertaining and full of good values and good characters. Anne and Pauline were best friends that is a fact. But I cant understand why people talk always about Anne without mentioning Pauline and what disturbs me more is that girl. Killing her own mother? And people keep criticizing more Anne. Why?

Apart from finding the murder and this case disturbing - I still think that since homosexuality was classified as a mental illness - I think partially this may have been one of the things that condemned them the most even though juliet hulme aka anne perry denies lesbian activity) - as well as their age because they werent allowed to speak on their own behalf at the trial... as sad as it is - it's actually very interesting... I would hate to imagine how the familie's would feel

Yeah! Thanks for making this documentary!!! This case is one of the most captivating cases ive looked into(and thats allot :D) purely because of the nature of the crime as well as the powerful connection between the pair. I am very much looking forward to this :D

Thank you kindly! I really appreciate your posting. Yes, "Reflections of the Past" will have a Blu-ray Release starting in 2012. I'm currently working on the Special Features. Like many others, I can hardly wait to see this. The Jackson film really grabs a hold on many people, myself included. That is due to the powerful portrayals by the young actresses, but I wonder what it is that goes so far beyond that? It seems to me a love story of the purest kind, and yet I know how crazy that sounds even as I write it. I do have an idea for a short story based on this case, and am surprised more has not been done about it in print or film. Thank you for your addition!

The Parker Hulme case continues to draw fascination largely due to the nature of the crime and certain aspects that continue to raise questions, debate, and/or speculation. I feel my film captures that essence for better or worst depending on who's viewing my film.

It's my own personal feeling that the Parker Hulme tale is a dark and for the most part a denied love story or perhaps I'm being too romantic about it all:):) I appreciate your posting!

Hi Joyann, Thank you for your post. Right now, my focus is the theatrical release happening in New Zealand this coming May 2011. I'm not sure what the film market is like in Holland or what type of festivals would accept my work. You've given me an idea though. I'm most grateful for your interest in seeing my film!!!

Yes my film will be available at some point for purchase. Right now, I'm in the midst of getting it seen through film festivals, direct theater release in NZ, and planning some engagements down the line in certain cities both in the US and the UK.
