why can you keep firing your shotgun near the giant majini when the melee attack is displayed?

when i face the same situation, i can't fire but force to use the melee

is it because i use type C?

@pixpinallen hmm, i have no idea how type C controls is like but it is possible that is the reason. i use type B.

voice chat is very tedious to record on a ps3. both players have to be recording and one side has to mute the BGM. only i was recording for this run so it wasn't possible to include voice chat.

Getting use to Rebecca. Her shotgun is really meh. She has her good machine gun which can also be a pistol so that's OK. Her Face stun execution is great as it can hurt about 3 others near by, and he back-of-the-head-knee is a good attack but her other melee attacks are so weak! It can get really hard using her on your own in Mercenaries.

Rebecca isn't all that bad. Her shotgun quickly kills almost anything, and regarding melees, her "flame spray" potentially kills multiple majini at the same time.

She's not as good as rest of the characters (who are all overpowered in reunion in my opinion), but that just makes her more fun to play as in my opinion. Chris BSAA is probably my favourite in normal mercs, mainly because it's so much more challenging to play as him than someone like Wesker STARS.

Yeah I agree. I'm not saying she's bad, but her shotgun has a long recovery time. I mean, if you fire her shotgun, she stays there for a shortwhile then finishes the animation. I do like the BSAA CHris too and have been training with him coz he is a good challenge but can really be annoying at times. ALso because BSAA CHris and Beccy have poor melee attacks.
