YouTube is not the Internet. It's a site *on* the Internet. They have to pay for network services that give them, and their customers, access to their website. They're the mall off the highway that you 'drive' to when you take the on ramp(your ISP) and travel to their off ramp(the services they pay for that gives them bandwidth).
