  • Has anyone else noticed how the only people who don't like the 11th doctor are the ones who have only seen the 10th? Those people should seriously watch the 2nd to see where Matt is partly basing it on.

  • During "The Eleventh Hour" clip, the white strip at top left spells "Doctor" wrong...haha. Just something I noticed.

  • why is he not wearing a bow tie

  • i mean boy got missing in pakestan

  • be go missing in pakestan

  • @DoctorWhoMaster999 you are a shit

  • matt is very seductive

  • he's adorable :)

  • does anyone think he looks like a young Michel york

  • Thumbs up if you can't picture him with facial hair.

  • hehehe lol

  • he is the only person in the universe that can wear a bow tie and a fez and be cool. :D

  • @Carodacat that is exactly what i said

  • When i saw this, and he mentioned episode 12, i could not wait all those weeks for episode 12. He was right though, the last 10 minutes were incrdible.

  • Matt Smith is so cute. Haha.

I like how he talks with his hands so much. He kind of rambles, too. It's epic.

  • I love him!

  • Cardiff, the Ninth Doctor whould freak.

  • I love him!!! He is such an amazing Dr!!! I think he is great!! I think my new Doctor is Matt Smith!! He is sexy too!!!! Love his hair!!

  • WTF is with the woman at the start - weirdest enunciation.

"fans are preparing to tiiiIIIIiime travel - once more"

Gosh that would get annoying. Australian presenters are so much more monotone. XD

Oh, yeah. Matt Smith - EXCITING! =D

  • @mebee4 Yeah, because monotone isn't annoying at all is it ?

  • i loooooooooooooooooooooove matt smith!!! he was just fantastic in the eleventh hour hes like the tom baker doctor and the patrick troughton doctor rolled into one i can see why steven moffat picked him.

  • I quite like BOTH The Office incarnations for very different reasons. British and American humor are very different because our cultures are unique and being that I grew up with American humor that makes the American incarnation funny to me but being that I love British humor, that makes the British incarnation just as enjoyable.

I do agree with everyone saying that an American DW wouldn't be DW anymore, though. American Sci-Fi is usually shit, anyway.

  • tough. get used to it MissGwen. i'm tired of hysterical tennant fangirls like you judging smith because of his looks. Sure, David Tennant has a great face, but his doctor suffered because of RTD's shit writing which gave us Planet of the dead, journey's end (40 minutes in), Last of the timelords, and series 4 (except for moffat's stories). most of tennant run didn't feel like doctor, it was more like the sarah jane adventures! its people like you who make me like tennant less and less every day.

  • I'd explain to you why I don't like his face but you wouldn't care anyway. His ACTING skills are quite good actually. Tennant is not that good looking...at all. In fact I didn't like him much when he came on. But he made the Doctor again. Like all the other great men did. I'm VERY unsure with Smith BUT in the finale he did really good which made me very happy. And also...PLEASE judge Tennant on his ACTING. Not your misjudged feelings on "hysterical tennant fangirls".

  • Now RTD I THINK(note that) did an AMAZING job in the writing when all the others failed at being him back. But you'd be happy to know that he has left the show also. Which I find to be very sad. But hey..MY OPINION. You'll get a new guy though :) And hopefully he'll be great at it.

  • @speedfreakgoforself1 hey i agree with you totally- RTD was a crap writer and not many of his stories were worth bothering with- Steven Moffat on the other hand will almost certainly succeed hes brought the vintage feel back tothe series

  • I'm American and love the American Office but I definitely say NO DR WHO AMERICAN REMAKE! All we'd do is put a bunch of unnecessary violence and sex in it and completely lose what makes Dr. Who so charming :) We'd be like, "Oh people don't like this actor anymore? Blow him up and make a new one". No heart.

  • @Justjumpalready Yeah, Doctor Who can't not be British. I'm American too, but honestly it just wouldn't be Doctor Who anymore if it's American.

  • America ruined The Office and Life on Mars and as an american I HOPE they will not make a "remake". It would honestly be garbage. I agree lets just keep watching what is being made in the BBC. Dont screw with something that is already working well. But hey at least it would only last a crappy one season and disappear. This is one american who DOES NOT support a remake.

  • @orton0384 I don't see how America /ruined/ The Office because it's a completely different show except for the first episode.

  • @MisterPenguinMusic When something is copied in an uncreative way, it cheapens it in my view.

  • @QuickCalibre Whether its un-creative or not is irrevelant. There's no way it could've /ruined/ the British office.

  • I never realised Dr Who was so popular in the states? :O they better not make a US version. Whats the point?

  • God america already tried a remake before... it was what created 8... and that's the most painful thing to watch EVER. It was painful when it aired, it's twice as painful now.

Being an american myself, I still say that america should stay out of it. Their track record is only so-so with remakes of british shows, and they more often than not stick their foot in it. :(

  • To be clear, the TV movie wasn't a remake, but an attempt to revive the show. I don't think you can call it a remake if it's set in the same continuity. Also, the new version of Torchwood in the works isn't a remake either, but a spinoff, which I believe could actually work. However, I agree that turning a character as quintessentially British as the Doctor into an American would be awful.

  • Actually it was suppose to kinda of a pilot for a new series as well as bring the US audience it but it failed at both. The studio execs were waiting on ratings to see if they would be doing a series for the 8th Dr. I read it on wiki.

  • cant believe america wants to make an american remake of the show... its stupid... just watch the same show as us... we have to watch their crap without remakes and never complain...why cant they enjoy it with british accent?

  • An American remake of Doctor Who? Where'd you hear this?

  • yeh some network in the States wanted to remake it along with Torchwood

  • @banjoglory

I agree and Im american. It will be horrid if they remake Dr. Who. It won't be the same without the english accent. It is British born and too iconic to be anything but British. I know myself and many other americans who will boycott it if this happens

  • This is the only place I can find any reference to an american remake. Also surely the backlash would be to great.

  • anyone else notice the 'Dcotor Who' typo in the titles? :)

  • I HEAR IT PLAYING IN THE BACK SQUEEE

  • Matt is definitely gonna silence the haters!

  • Eleven's brillant - I love how he talks to the young girl as if she's a grown up that would understand what he's on about! :P

  • :) Cute, he came back for her (Amy) ! I love the Doctor ^^

Yep, I believe it's going to be great ! I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE DW BACK ! XD

  • Well at least we'll get a long time watching Matt, rather than him being unconscious for half of his first episode

  • Kinda weird to see the tardis knocked over 90 degrees. Moffat is no doubt going to do a lot of new, "what if this happened" tricks in this series.

  • i like it that the TARDIS is on the ground like that. its really funny

  • @42shazam Your gonna fall a long way when jumping in to the tardis like that. lol.

  • can't effing wait!!!

  • 3:04

    'Dcotor Who'

On the title at the top, well done BBC!

  • I could hear David saying every line and see him making every move. This new season might work after all.

  • ah yeah, this is going to be brilliant!!

  • "Its gonna BUUURNNN!!!" <3 I love this, I am SOOO SOOO Excited. Matt is SOOO the Doctor.

  • OOoooh, that little teaser whetted my appetite!!! Can't wait till it starts here, woo hoo!

  • @ JamiePS3Howitt Thanks. Yes it is Pond.

  • Yeah, I think that girl is a young Amy Pond. We know how reliable the TARDIS is with those "quick jumps". A bit "Girl in the Fireplace" there.

  • YAY! That looks GREAT!

  • Dcotor Who eh?lol

  • he is soooo not gonna "be right back" :D

  • I bet that's Amy Pool and instead of five minutes in the future it's several years. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I can't wait!!!!

  • @stormgateproductions

    1) It's Pond

    2) It is.

    :D:D:D

  • LOL Yeah it is Pond. O'well Still looks GREAT!

  • OMG now I'm really excited !!!
