  • pf aftermarket wheels

  • A truck takes off and pulls the load from the dig like a torque happy cummins, it hauls the load with ridiculous acceleration and hemorrhaging torque like a powerstroke. Then it breaks down and ruins your day like a duramax.

Later you are eventually towed by either a cummins or a powerstroke.

if you're a cummins fan, take a look at our 6.4 and 6.7 stroker. If you're a powerstroke fan, we should already know about the 5.9 and 6.7.

For both fans, would we honestly rather a duramax?

  • the guy in the ford wasn't toying with the Dodge... they were both fighting for traction and even the Ford makes a good truck with the powerstroke it still ain't got nutin on the torque from a CUMMINS. a lifted ford had to fight with all it had to take a stock Dodge. CUMMINS > PowerStroke

  • How does a lift increase anything? and that cummins wasnt bone stock either

  • FORD F350 vs CHEVY 3500 (JULY 3,2009) check out my vid of F350 VS CHEVY 3500. THANKS FOR THE VID.5STAR.

  • yea but with the new epa emmissions thing your supposed to be able to put your mouth over the tailpipe and breath, but with as much power the new powerstroke is going to have, its going to be hard to reach that much hp and tq

  • Looks like the heavier truck won. Weight(traction) is everything in a tug O war.

  • coming from a non bias opinion (duramax guy) i agree with thie part about weight and traction.. but also a lot of guys light up there tires right away and it makes it easier to pull someone backwards that way i think cummins guys know this better ..in this case i think it was just luck that the powerstroke won they were pretty equal trucks (weight and traction) but he got him just at the right time..both drivers new how to pull in this case..good battle but i bet the cummins can get the ford

  • wow!! that was the best tug of war i've ever seen! happy to see another ford kill a dodge! lol nice!!

  • you mean the first ford to pull a dodge a few in

  • ford even hit the brakes and cummins couldnt drag it...round where im from u hit the brakes u get ur truck broken..usualy starting with the driveshaft. then ur morale gets shatterd. which leads to u selling ur junk dodge..and buying a 'REAL'' truck. ive seen it many times lol

  • That cummins looks like a 2500 to me.

  • @tyorf123 thats a STOCK 2500.... notice it still stands its grounds too...

  • dam that stock dodge w/ 8.5" wide tires seemed like it was toying with that lifted ford. and its funny the dodge was lower then the ford, all the down force on them back tires. id rather b cummin than strokennnn

  • @JESSEBOUCHER661

i think the reason why you'd rather be cummin than stroken is because you have nothing to stroke you little pussy.

Both trucks are the same damn size, so what the hell with all the commotion? I picked this video for the reason because it's good to see two american trucks go at it. I'd rather be cummin and strokin rather than some suckin isuzu duramax.

Appreciate two bad ass trucks when you see them, powerstroke and cummins. Pick either one and you'll still be kickin ass.

  • @JESSEBOUCHER661 RATHER BE STROKED THAN RAMMED!!!!!!!

  • that didnt look like much toying to me, put a good set of tires on like the ford had and he would have walked hit all over that place, and he still held his own after breaking the posi out of it

  • Sweet dodge

  • hey both of those are good american truck. they both put up a good fight. Something snapped in tht dodge!

  • the dodge was rite there till he just floored it and ripped his tires loose. the only reason either one won is cuz of wheel slippage

  • excuses u caN CLEARLY SEE WITCH OF THEM IS THE BADDEST THEY'RE THE SAME SISE BUT DIFFERENT ENGINES! FORD RULES ALL THE WAY

  • wow the ford looked heavier and still couldnt pull the dodge

  • Haha sure the ext. cab ford looked heavier then the crew cab dodge yea sure and i dont know if the brain in that head of yours is working right but the ford clearly pulled the dodge let off then pulled again and so on and so on so go make yourself look smart somewere else haha

  • im not trying to act smart but you can clearly see the ford is heavier and still struggled

  • If the Mopar had some better treads this would've been over sooner. He shouldn't have shifted. You can't pull withhorses it's all Torque once you're spinning you're done.

  • in tug of war traction is the name of the game, that powerstroke wasnt playing with him he just got the advantage when the dodge shifted into a higher gear spinning his tires faster and thus loosing traction and loosing, as for trucks i have the best of all three worlds 1983 chevy with a 95 12v p pumped from a dodge, 35000 gvw eaton fuller 5 speed medium duty trans from a ford, divorced np205 from a dodge and chevy dana 60 and 14 bolt ff locked front and rear

  • There's nothing "little" about that Dodge except maybe the stock street tires on it. That "big & bad" Ford still had a hard time pulling it. Nice try.

  • Comment removed

  • Why did that superduty play with that little dodge for so long? I would have just floored it and got it over with...

  • Floor it lose traction and start going backwards

  • That sucks that the chain un-kinked like that. The Dodge had him till that happened.

  • Wrong? Not so much. You'd know what I'm talking about if you owned one, or did some research on that well known Dodge tactic.

For example, my truck is a 2500, but the bed capacity is underrated by Dodge for only 3,850 Lbs. I can, & have put alot more than that in it. It's (more like 5500 Lbs really). I have nothing against Ford, their #'s are the actual weight rating they claim, not like Dodge, who has always under rated their max payload capacity on purpose for some odd reason.

  • Just to let everyone know... the only difference between a 2500 Ram and a 3500 Ram is an overload set of springs!!! THATS IT!!!

  • I would rather be strokin then being rammed

  • i like CUMmins

  • cumapart

  • hahaha

  • Way better than a powercroak.

     I can play too jackass.

  • Here's the facts, I have owned both.

My Ford spent 32% of it's life in the shop during the two years I owned it. Between maintenaince cost and fuel, it cost me $2973 more to operate it during the 43K miles I had it, my dodge now has 43K miles, has never been to the shop and when taking resale value at the time I sold my ford and resell of my dodge, add the extra maint costs...the Ford cost me $7937 more dollars. My Dodge pulls the sleds and fifth wheel twice as well as my Ford ever did.

  • Ive been a Ford Diesel man all of my life. The 7.3L is my motor of choice. The Cummins motor is a badass motor. What I hate about the Dodges is the truck falls apart around the motor. What Detroit needs to do is put the Cummins with an Allison behind it and put it in the Ford truck. It would be the perfect truck.

  • Ahh great minds think alike

  • I couldn't agree with you more rednfishing, I am also a ford guy and own a 7.3 ,its a great truck. It blows my mind that they put the awesome cummins mill under the hood of shitty dodges.

  • your just pissy that your stuck with a shitty powerstroke

  • Both trucks are good, but the Ford was lifting the Dodge rear end off the ground due to the higher tongue height, that's all I was trying to point out.

  • Cummisn jsut got spanked!

  • until the ford needs an injector...

  • oh ummm good one, until the dodge needs a tranny, or a top end rebuilds itself. seems like the ford almost pulled the frame off the dodge.

  • I was just kidding lol..

  • Hey rook, Obviously the Dodge didn't have good tires like that big lifted Ford did. That was the chain doing that, not the truck. Watch the video again because you missed the part where the chain popped, & lifted the truck off the ground @ 1:34 , & that was the final blow at maintaining any traction. Make the chain level next time, & put better tires on the Dodge, & watch what happens.

  • Hey, let's all watch the Ford lift the rear end of the Dodge off the ground. Oh yeah, Ford doesn't "own" any part of Cummins.

  • just admit it the dodge lost, plus watch 1:34, i'm sure that dodge was breakin

  • anyone that thinks powerstroke makes bad motors is an idiot. first off they own most of cummins. secondly the 7.3L powerstroke motor has been tested with billions of road miles. plain and simple its just the most rugged and best performing damn motor out there. and i hear there were a few bugs in the few motors but the new 6.0 also puts out more power...

  • only one thing to say..........i'd rather be cummin then strokin!

  • haha if he didnt jump he woulda had it, but that ford just never gave up, but why do i care, im a chevy guy

  • How about if dodge could get e decent tranny it would be an ok truck. Im a powerstroke guy and will admit a cummins is a better engine than the 6.0 ford but the transmissions SUCK!

  • yea maybe when you drive a million miles and haul trailers across the us then it starts to suck....but i dont know why your complaining that dodges trans dosent let the Cummings pull to its full power ....I SEE THE WHEELS SPINNING

  • Dodge has had better transmissions for almost 6 years now, starting with the 48RE, & now they have a bulletproof 68RE on the 6.7 Cummins trucks. Hard to believe, but it's better than the Allison. The 6 speed stick version is awesome too, but I like the auto better. Both units work with, & come standard with the ability to use the exhaust brake.

  • better suspension, no, your wrong, hows that possible with lower payload.

  • how good are the duramax's?

  • Duramax is great if you like overheating issues while towing, & frequent rebuilds.

  • power stroke it is more of a power joke. buy a cummins. those power strokes are garbage.

  • mmm...the smell of burnt rubber and clutch, just makes ya quiver with joy when you drop another grand for 2 minutes of redneck fun...;-)

    woohoo!

  • oh and by the way perreault331... Cummins is the only way to go, I hear ya ill take it anyday over a powerchoke

  • around 1:34 the cummins grabbed another gear. well bid farewell to these two trucks holding up... just wondering and not trying to start a fight but why truck pull? Don't you have a little more respect for your $50,000 dollar truck than that?

  • no we don't!

  • yea thats what i figured....

  • standard vs auto would be a big disadvantage for the manual. I'll hook that ford to my dodge cummins any day and pull it to the scrap yard where it should be. (Cummins guys keep it straight, the other guys swing both ways)

  • lets not forgoet how much of a retard you are. there is not a significant diff. in weight between dodge and ford. why dont you stop making up dumbass excuses. if the dodge wouldve won everything would have been fine. accept the lose and stop crying.

  • I'd back up ford if I saw a video of a 6.4 winning too... make sure you don't have any recalls and get a 7.3 if you want a real Powerstroke.

P.S. Rather be Cummin than Strokin. I respect the 7.3 though.

  • but to be strokin, you have to be like a rock. duramax will drag both of em backwards.

  • Lets not forget a Ford has a massive weight advantage (much heavier), and, the hitch point on the Ford was higher, giving it another advantage.

  • the ford isnt heavier, check again, the cummins anchor is where the dodge weight advantage is, the inch of diff. in the chain height was the only thing that helped the ford....or made it even:P horsepower got nothin to do with it as long as you can turn your tires.

  • Yes, a Cummins engine is heavier than a crappy Powerstroke, but, a Ford pickup is heavier than similair Dodge.

  • Wow, they were almost completely matched!

  • Ok this is the most boring anchor pull I have ever seen... You gotta get on them diesels to see where the real power is at, they were not even trying.. C'mon now

  • idk if you know this, but just hammering it makes you lose traction, lose traction and its a walk in the park for the other guy. So im sorry but your wrong.

  • sorry, but i think you are a little confused, if you just get on them, your gonna get the tires spinnin and lose traction. Normally if you lose too much traction or get the tires goin too fast, your just gonna get yanked backwards real fast. Timing and just the right speed/pressure on the pedal is what it takes man.

  • what happened around 1:34?

  • the guy in the cummins tried shifting but either way they went best 3 out of 5 the stroke won all three

  • tight.. that's how us PSD's do it!

  • @weeman516 i just cant see,the power stroke "plays"with the other truck...

  • POWERSTROKIN'

  • hey weeman if you know both of them why did you say during the video that you wished the guy in the ford would just floor it?? Wouldn't you say "I wish ed would floor it?" BTW I like the built ford vs stock cummins

  • thats not me do i think i am the only guy there look at all the people around

  • for 1, both of them are in 4lo, for 2 its not that hard to put a silencer ring in an aftermarket turbo, and for 3 looks like the fords trying a lot harder and the guy in the dodge (which 4500s are duallies and they dont come with beds) is just settin there. another instance of retards on youtube... good job

  • if you take a look around 90% of the work trucks on the road are ford, landscape, construction, and just flat out more on the road. and the powerstroke is built by international and they call it a dt 444 and have been running them for years and international has been out there making diesels and tractors and big trucks for a long time, since the 40s so do some research. like i said powerstroke is a name for the engine and cummins dont make tractor trailers companies like peterbilt, KW, etc

  • ford got lucky and you all know that..traction played a big factor here, you all know in the back of your tiny brains (ford guys) that no way a stock powerstroke is gonna compare to a cummins cummins has been around for how long? powerstroke sucks..you dont see a powerstroke in a tractor trailer truck now how come?? how many powerstrokes have you actually used as work trucks? ive used both..cummins has ford beat by a long shot..

  • lol thats no 4500 its a 3500....... and the cummins got pulled by an 3/4ton... sad...

  • Sounds like a bunch of sore losers. Sorry guys it happens, by the way if Dodge is any good once so ever, why the hell would it "slip" out of gear anyways? Food for Thought.

  • cause the chrysler trannys suck!!!! they aren't anywhere near a beefy enough tranny to be behind a high powered cummins!

  • learn how to use certain wording "once so ever" try "what so ever" maybe thats some food for thought.

  • I was going to write something mean but figured that you would come up with some other smart ass comment so I will leave it at this, you are a inconsiderate and shouldn't pick my , furthermore anyones word choice apart because the video supports what I am saying. Guess what I think Cummins is by far better that either Powerstroke or Duramax but you are to worried about trying to prove your english skills to see that.

  • to be honest I thought that you were hating on Dodge, I'm not too worried about my english skills I was just taking up for Dodge... i have a Cummins in my drive way.

  • ur all a bunch of winey bitches

  • that piece of shit ford got lucky

  • and try a 2500 you dipshit

  • Hey weeman or anyone else that gives a crap actually the dodge slipped out of gear into higher gear but the ford just got lucky!

  • ok so im gonna play ignorant for a second and pretend that this powerstroke does suck ... what does that make this dodge that just got beat? ... think about it

  • ok for 1. a dodge 4500 would be a flat bed, and a dually2nd, i can tell there stock tires. and 3, sounds like the ford has after market turbo. thats the ONLY ford i seen pull a dodge. and by the way, the dodge is a 2500. i own 3 dodge's, 01 cummins 2500 (stock) an 05 dodge ram 2500 long bed hemi and and 08 dodge ram 2500, lifted chiped and aftermarket garet turbo. and i bet all 3 can out pull that ford.

  • exactly man...no one is dumb enough to get a 4500 and "build" it into a 2500. i doubt thats a 1 ton anyhow. and anyway this came down to traction not power in any way shape or form, because if it did, thats joke wouldve been laughing his way all the way home while the cummins continued to romp all over ne other truck. also weeman, the odds that you know both of these guys and their trucks is incredibly slim just by the fact of what youve said about everything

  • even though im a ford guy, the dodge was in low range and NO you cant hear a aftermarket turbo on the ford you would have herd it spool a mile away, the dodge is the only one you can hear. the cummins is a good motor but its not the best

  • yes, it is the best.

  • That isn't a dodge 4500, plus that dodge has stock tires, which are smaller than the ones on this ford. which mean less traction. Ford sux

  • that is to a 4500 and the dodge at off road tires the guy in the ford and good year street tires on there dont try and talk shit i know both of these guys there good friends of mine

  • OK WEEMAN still Ford Sux, end of story! And still the Dodge is not a Ram 4500, you can just take the 2 or 3 off the 2500 and put a 4 on there to make it look like its a 4500!

  • Prove it. They do not make a single rear wheel 4500. All 4500s are dual wheel. So unless you have prove. SHUT UP!

  • stroker still sucks!
