Then how do you explain people staying in the closet? People who are afraid to say how they feel inside? If it was about attention, then people would be shouting it from the rooftops.

All gay people should remember to appreciate this country, in this country they have a righ to be gay,no matter how sinful, in any ohter country they wouldnt have that freedom.
It has nothing to do with appreciating or not appreciating this country, and saying that we dont have the right to be gay somewhere else is just wrong. The fact is that being gay is not considered illegal in oh lets look most of europe, south america, ALL of north america, australia, and a large chunk of africa.
I created a GSA at my school. We started by putting up flyers and seeing how many people would be interested in the club. Then we got a teacher to be a facilitator. I made a lot of friends in that club. But you have to also expect idiots who will bash it.

@3sleepingbananas We went to a conference called True Colors. We also went to see some plays that dealt with LGBT issues.
