While we do need to improve our immigration policies, I don't believe bringing needy Mexicans to the United States is the solution. When ex- Mexican President Vicente Fox is and always has been pushing for the US to grant Amnesty to all illegal Mexicans in the US! I am from Mexico, and I came here legally 10 yrs ago. I learned English very well. Probably even better than the average American. I graduated with honors from high school, and I went to college. The thing is, it took my family 8 years to get our Green Cards, and it cost over $30,000 to get 5 of these cards (5 people). After all this, I still get called wetback & job stealer. what did I do wrong? I abide by the law & pay taxes. I think people just hate us for who we are, not for being illegal.

Anyone that believes there is not a problem needs to come and stay in Duplin County, in North Carolina. There are an average of 2 accidents per week near my house at a rural intersection involving uninsured mexican motorists. The crime rate is at an all time high, and the county is going broke because it's supporting 30,000 people that are not paying taxes. COME ON!

Speaking of economic realities, it is not economically realistic to allow millions of uneducated people into the USA. These people use up more services than they pay taxes for. They use roads, health services, schools, etc. without paying sufficient tax to cover the cost. They are a net loss. "We are a bunch of entitled immigrants' children." Speak for yourself, honey. America doesnt want criminals, and the less people you let in the easier it is to control the influx of criminals. So whether or not they come illegally or legally, if the number is higher it becomes harder to regulate and do back ground checks, etc. This isnt exactly flawless policy but it is something to consider.
