Every couple of months I missed Sesshoumaru and Rin. LOL. Watching this over (Love the song so much by the way) What tugged at my heart the most is the part when Rin opened her eyes and he gently touched her face. The relief in his eyes and how soft his voice came out when he said.."You're all right now." Why it stood out is, he does not go around ever touching anyone with compassion and sincerity, and when he does that it's hard to deny how much Rin means to him. Love them so much now..

I don't think it's a ridiculous of a thought to think that Sesshoumaru can one day fall in love with Rin. The age gap is just that and if to truly think about it no one would be compatible with him in that regard. Rin will always have a special place in his heart and for him willing to give up his power or whatever need be to save her life that is as far as you can get with him to showing his "loving" side to a human. Rin will grow up and he stays the same. The possibilities are ones imagination

Besides, from the way the story goes, its pretty obvious that he doesn't love her romantically. She's 7 and he's like 500. Even when she grows up, it'd be weird for her to be with someone who raised her. From a literary standpoint, Rin is just there so Sesshomaru can grow up and realize that people depend on him, be they servant or the people he rules over.
