  • No.... It's not an error rofl that is Sydney NS two key notes 1 ctv Canada 2 the guy said maritime sky's meaning defiantly not australia...

  • fake map ?!?!?!?

  • wft is upp whit the map???

i tought they were talking about Sydney in Australia, NOT Sydney in Canada.

anny one who also might think this is a map screw upp?

  • @jarand4 It's Sydney, Nova Scotia. That's in Canada.

  • ...."the plane lost all hydraulic fluids, rendering all controls useless.....and causing sudden acceleration of the plane...

.....Toyota mechanics were called in to fix the job.........."

  • these guys declared an emergency over the US , but were denied landing by the FAA.

  • Not true, anyone can break any rules in an emergency, the FAA says it, and I'm sure ICAO does too. I had an alternator failure once, didn't declare an emergency, but tower closed down the airspace and told me the airport was mine and kept giving me windchecks. Near home, if I had a problem, and I wanted the biggest runway possible, they'd close O'Hare so that I could land there without worrying.

  • And where the fuck did you hear that? The Enquirer? The FAA would prefer the plane to crash into an American city? And why doesn't the US fly Mirages...awesome range, if it can suffer a failure over the US, and make it too Sydney before landing. I doubt even the F-22 could do THAT!

  • ? I don't think so.

  • 'The only sign of a problem was the parachute used to slow down the damaged fighter'

.............HAHAHAHA. Fucking no clue these media pricks.

  • You may be right, but they didn't say that they meant that the parachute wasn't a normal thing...they may have meant that it failed to deploy or something. A hydraulic failure COULD cause that (although it's unlikely), or it could have been a coincidence. They weren't very clear in any case, but I think the shot of the parachute lying on the tarmac next to the plane almost looks like it didn't deploy properly, like it's still rolled up on one end. But I'm no parachute expert.

  • Yup!!not to mention halifax airport was built in a perpetual fog bank.

  • That is why Sydney should be an international air port not Halifax.
