  • Frame drumming..... A truly lost art

  • I do not know why, but "dhoom", "the" "ka" and all those sounds sound Indian (East India). As also the melody that you are singing. Of course, I am not saying it might be a derivative from there, but I hardly know the origins of this drum. Is it linked to India or the Eastern world in any way?

  • @whoddaya drums like these are played all over the world. I think that this way of playing is middle eastern, but I'm not sure exactly though.

  • Thank you for this demonstration... I find it hard to sing while frame drumming, at this point, but singing the vocalisations... dum, tek, etc... that does seem a good way to develop that.
