@wowmyne No he is not the last imam to die. Imam el Hussein (as) is the third imam. There are 12 imams, the last one is known as the hidden imam, he is Imam al Mahdi (3ajil allah farajo shareef)
Most of the sunni’s look at 3ashoora as a holiday (go ask them why).
@LeBGiRL4EvER wait..wait wait. imam hussain (as) is i think da 3rd last 2 pass...im sure u kno he went off 2 battle den died there in karbela n left 1 more imam 2 look after the harems (the females) n his name was ali zainul-abideen (as) he was sick at the time n was still gunna go fight but imam hussain (as) explained y he was best 2 stay...so mehdi (eafs) was takin since he was a baby n was da last 2 b as a imam true u rite..but imam Hussain (as) was da last imam 2 die in battle..
@wowmyne Of course I know he was the third Imam and he died in the battle of Karbala. He was the last Imam to die in battle. The other Imam's were either poisoned or killed in jail (martyrs). What I meant in my comment before is that all the Imam's, except for Imam al Mahdi (3aj.) have died martyrs, and Imam al Mahdi (3aj..) will die a martyr in the future as well.
In this short & brief life on earth whenever I face troubles or problems of any sort, I always think of you my Imam and my problems become nothing compared of what you had faced....when I eat I send my Salam to your brother Imam Hassan and when I drink I send you my Salam and I know that somewhere you salute me back....
