I saw him in '88 and he acted just like this. I went with a group of friends who loved him, and I'd never heard of him. I didn't really like him that much at first, to be honest, but now he's one of my favorite artists ever! I love his Greatest Hits 2-CD set. GREAT songs!!!
@patmix yes, it was sampled, but hAow about the many different samples people still do in the mainstream arena.... Is christian music supposed to be 100% original...
and BTW Stryper did make a horrible mistake with Reborn, and their latest album is no better...
I love Steve. The Footloose Dancing is halarious. Hard to tell if he was serious or just goofing. Steve has a great sense of humor. He especially displayed that in his earlier concerts.

Someone gave me Steve's music back in 1987, "Shake me to Wake me," and "Fire and Ice." GREAT songs. I highly recommend his music.

I saw him at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas, TX around 1987 or so. The lead guitarist was an older guy, but I can't remember his name.

Steve Camp/Rick Cua/Rob Frazier was the first concert I ever went to, back in 1985. Brings back memories.
