  • You are a master. I still can't get passed the third level and I've had it since it came out. I sold my c64, disc drive, tape player, c64 carts and games for 50 quid back in the late eighties early nineties I can't remember exactly when just to buy this game. Lol.

  • Gotta love the Assault Suit series. . .

  • how did you manage that without the aim-lock or the shield? that took some serious skill to do that!

  • Stara dobra gra.W młodości byłem mistrzem tej gry.

  • This game is still one of the best Snes Classics to date. Music is still hella tight from Konami n Crew. haha funny thing is the end credit music is simular to Dracula X. OPus Corp made some dope tunes

  • this game is great

  • lol almost like votoms, but this one can fly

  • 2:06 this shit is advanced has funnels xD

btw great game it rocks is a pretty darn good gameplay and he didnt use the aim lock button

  • Didn't this game have multiple endings depending on how you played out some of the middle stages?

  • how did you filmed it with good quality?

  • why do u keep firing teh laser at the boss when its not hitting anything.

  • I'M SURE WOMEN WIL LIKE THIS STAGE.

  • Like with Metal Warriors, I rented this game and got to the last boss and never beat it...oh well.

I think it's funny how the enemy in the game is called "The Axis" but the flag they use is the European Union's, lol. And this game came out before the EU was really fashionable.

I love how all the little people run around and try to shoot your mech. I remember the game manual described your gun as "The three-peater, also known as the 'arrrghh!'". lol.

  • the metal warrior baddies were the axis.

  • The game's a lot easier when you use the left shoulder button to keep the gun aimed in the same direction while you move.

  • i still have the original game of this, the SNES cartiridge, wonder how much it would sell for

  • same here lol

  • On Ebay who knows?! As far as retail games stores run by corps -GameStop- they don't buy them. However my small mom and pop shop (Game Xchange) pays out 25 cash or 35 store credit. We're one of the few stores left that base game prices on quality, not popularity.

  • like 5 cents

  • wow the game looks awesome

  • Damn that ship was fucked up by the last stage

  • The game was actually made by NCS, it was only published by Konami, and only published by them in the states, a different company handled the Japanese publishing. The original (Assault Suits Valken) was way cooler, it had character portraits during the scenes with dialogue and a suicide.

  • the reason it never got the love contra did, is because the name of it is cybernator lol

  • this game is hard...I got it today and i can't get passed the second "mission" where you have to fly by the asteroids while shit is shooting at you. There is way too much stuff going on for a second level

  • why doesn't this game get the love contra got? this game is at least as good as Contra III if not better

  • The controls for this game are difficult for a little while but once you learn them (L2 holds gun direction) they're incredibly satisfying. The little robot has a substantial feeling thats heavy and fluid. Sweet!

  • The little guy get toastet by laser beams bigger then themself.

  • God I loved this game so much. Greatest SNES soundtrack I've ever heard too.

  • I KNOW!! What kills me is that there has been NO sequel... EVER!!! Is there a site or perhaps a group we could petition?

  • Wasn't there a reamke or something? Or maybe I'm thinking of metal warriors.

  • I don't have a clue. I'll check it out and if I find anything I'll holler

  • THE NAPALM GUN IS A BAD ASS

  • not the megadrive vs snes again! 16 years on and its still rageing!

  • You can never defeat "blast processing". LOL I love those guys at Sega for coming up with that! But hey, when you're eleven it sounds legit......

  • nobody agrees with me. They only agree with stupid Genesis fanboys who believe everything they hear, and stupid RPG gamers who don't know a good game when they see it. Super Nintendo had a lot of action games on it but nobody knows it does because gamers are so fricken retarded that they can't see what is right infront of them. I'm tired of explaining to people what they should know by observing things by themselves. They never use their eyes. They rely entirely on what other people tell them.

  • Dont know what your argument was in the first place mate, but this was one of the most hardcore yet enjoyable games i ever owned for the SNES. And yes, the SNES was way better than the Genesis (and yes i did own both). Lets see the Genesis try to run something like Killer Instinct or Starwing.

The SNES is still one of the best games consoles i ever owned.

  • @kkgriever killer instinct on snes sucked, and yes i owned it

  • @clownhorse meh not me

  • Slowdowns on SNES were nothing but a myth.

This game ran almost twice as fast as Sonic and still no slowdowns, unlike Sonic who slowed down every ten seconds whenever an enemy popped on the screen.

  • the soundtrack is almost as good as super castlevania 4

  • this is the best game out of the series

  • Tip: Use the L button to fire in a continuous direction, makes the aerial battles MUCH easier! This game isn't actually hard at all, too easy in fact after the first completion. Lacks replay value (I'm assuming previous comments by me weren't posted for some reason)

  • This game is tragic.I started out very bad and through much hard work I got to a point where I just piss on the game!Once I finished it the first time it just got too easy for much fun.... Leynos 2 on the Saturn is way tougher. My best score in Cybernator is 900000+ and the best weapon is the laser, worst the missiles (Their homing capabilities are crap!) I think the laser is better than the flamethrower as it recharges so much quicker and isn't much less powerful at full blast.

  • This (Cybernator/Valken) was my fave game of SNES/Super Famicom. ^^ Brings back such memories. My fave weapon was the punch-attack...I powered that up all the way and one-punched out all the incoming ships on the 'descent' level. :p And Crea (the female bridge crew member) comes out to meet you in her spacesuit at the end LOL. Very cool for its time!!

  • fuckin loved this game....10+ years ago!!!!

  • great game 10/10

  • Although an enemy's President does Suicide in "jyusoukihei valken" which is the Japanese version of "cybernator" after beating beldark, the scene is deleted in "cybernator".

  • I was never able to beat the last boss. At least you showed me the ending.

  • I got the SNES too late to get this game. Good for you.

Anyway taipion that rat would of course, not play with skill but do a lowly TAS on it.

  • Ah, good times, :)

My bro got me this game when I was 8 and was my fav next to dbl dragons and I played this game up until I lost it and my SNES :(. The laser was pretty easy to aim for me but you were kinda just shootn it around haha. As the for the last boss I liked to shoot off the arm first, then the crotch gun, then the lower part near the thrusters. Finally, I'd blow off the chin and fly right under the head and blow up the forehead from there without taking a lot of damage.

  • S NES IS STILL POWERFULL

  • Even if it's ol' an' rusty, SNES can still pack quite a painful punch.

  • hey thats my line damn you!

  • kewl. :)
