This is a terrible story. Thank god for Shelter. I've experienced homelessness and Shelter were the first people I phoned for advice. Thankfully I was sorted quickly but it's terrible that people still have to be in this position in 2009. Housing Associations should be ashamed of themselves. How can they get away with offering people houses in these conditions...
