The two BD songs in the background are "Call Me Irresponsible" and "Where Love Has Gone". Both are rather appropriate to the storyline considering that Lester has just "irresponsibly" quit his job and later in the movie he wonders where the love that he had with his wife has gone. I've always wondered how much trouble Kevin Spacey had in saying the last line of the scene considering what a big Darin fan he is.
