Yes,  don't forget BSL in Ontario exists for dogs that even LOOK LIKE a pit bull. Breed Specific Laws roots stem from hatred, bigotry, prejudice and ignorance. It must be fought, and education and awareness will be key in doing that.

My dog is a mutt from a Indian reserve rescue. Happy and friendly. Sturdy & widejawed. When I was at the vet with him she casually mentioned 'Yeah I was in Mexico on a charity mission nuetering and treating dogs for the poor and THEY'RE all pitbull crosses too'. I then checked out pics of Michael Vick's dogs and they were identical to mine. Pitbull crosses. So what about crossbreeds and those of unknown heritage? Pitbull owners now know how gunowners feel if they didn't before.

What Michael Bryant did was just plain evil. Going against the professionals and whipping the vote. This man is "inherently dangerous" and is himself a "ticking time bomb". History when society becomes more aware of the Bull in Banning Breeds will not be kind to him. He will be seen for the monster he is.

We are in the trenches of a battle against BSL. We "soldier" on fighting for our rights & our friendly dogs lives. We We know if racial profiling is wrong, then so is canine profiling. We fight against discrimination on looks, not on disposition or temperament. We are a "Band of Brothers" soldiering on against this discrimination and prejudice. Italy now at 93 banned or restricted dogs. We are in the front lines as this cancer grows from a lack of knowledge and intelligence. Say NO to BSL.
