The early 90's was not bad either.....I really liked 91' for personal reasons....but then grunge...early grunge o'k'....but after,,...man really bad music in general in the 90's and after. @23Jarek23 Yep that's why most of the movies suck now or are not what they could be. They dont "salt" the movie with songs that yank at your strings like they did in the 70's-early 90's. But in my opinion half of these songs in the 80's are what made most movies. (Especially movies like dirty dancing, karate kid, etc. etc)

this was the theme from the ill fated Slyvester Stallone film "Over The Top" from 1987 also this song was featured on Loggins ' 1988 album "Back To Avalon".
