btw i just got a acer laptop and whenever i play gta on it it lags a lot and sometiimes things such as the road, buildings, and trees disappear do i need a new grwphic card?
i live in clifton and i must say thats awsome. i recently purchased gta 4 for my pc and i wanted to know if you could assist me unto how to put mods such as the one above onto the game to be used. if you could also send me a message when this car is done and ready to be downloaded onto the gmae that would be awesome. Once again great job
@mike12954 In order to add new car models or skin pack you will require a program called Spark IV, there are two version one for GTA IV EFLC and one for the basci GTA IV version. I am assuming you go the game on steam so when you run spark 0.6.6, For the first time you will need to pin point the game directory. I would be something like
@mike12954 C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\commmon\grand theft auto iv\GTAiV. After than you will scroll all the way down until you see some kind of web page links, go lover until you see models, click it then cdimages folder, click on it and on the right hand side you will see files, the car file is the one called
@mike12954 vehicles.img d-click that files and it will show all gtaiv car names. crown victoria police car i usually a vehicle named police2.wtd and police2.wft all cars are 2 files wtf/wtf when you download the car mod you want you simply replace the files importing them and then clicking save after you're done. I hope this help a little.
ok, awesome mod, i personally know clifton pd doesnt have that many lights on their cvpi's but overall its awesome, i grew up in clifton for 15 years so i seen the cpd change through alot of cars, but this is good, im sure mayor anzaldi would be happy to see his police dept made it into a video game :p

I don't like having all those lights on it and for the pics that would be cool. The ones I found on google help a little. Maybe I could take a pic of a CPD car when they pass by my house or stop at a diner lol I live at the border of Paterson and Clifton
