I agree that you have to be in better shape for hockey, because you are always skating up and down, but honestly it isn't that hard of a sport. If you are physically fit, and strong, it won't be any problem. The 2 hard things about hockey are goaltending and shooting. Baseball you need to phsycially fit like pitchers, and you have to take all the little things into account. Mechanics are big.

@getusetoitreebok middle infielders? the only players that tend to bulk up are 3rd, 1st, and DH's. I agree that you have to be in better shape for hockey, because you are always skating up and down, but honestly it isn't that hard of a sport. If you are physically fit, and strong, it won't be any problem. The 2 hard things about hockey are goaltending and shooting. Baseball you need to phsycially fit like pitchers, and you have to take all the little things into account. Mechanics are big.
