how are you able to get the ashes out the smokebox? when you cant move the face?

That diesel in the first illustration is actually the Works Diesel from James and the Diesel Engines.

Yeah tht diesel looks the same as Bear, ( the diesel that first appeared in Enterprising Engines).

yeah except the works diesel is a class 47 and bear's a class 35 hymek

why is Douglas' smoke white when it said that the new coal made their smoke black???

Maybe Clive Sprong had run out of black paint when he was doing that image.
Maybe it's because he works on different parts of the Island and uses different coal.
