  • lovely! It is so odd to hear genesis actually singing. (Only ever heard to TG)

  • why couldnt they just make all their music bliddful like this? most contrast within a band ive ever heard hahaha, are there any of their albums that are just this sort of stuff?

  • thanks for sharing... nice music..

  • therre is something about this song that is at once totally earthed and yet unearthly.the comment about this trak being played at a funeral makes complete sense...the lyrics alone stand as awesome....fuck it just has that something that lots of amazing music dosnt have and if i knew what that was it wouldnt have it...its so short though i usually listen 3-4 times in a row....

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • this kinda sounds like neutral milk hotel's "king of carrot flowers".

  • one of the Psychic TV highlights.. along with We Kiss.. Godstar.. Lalala SOng.. Like Arcadia... Just Drifting... Suspicious.. Black Cat

  • @simoom37 great list pal im gonna check out some of these, i love just drifting and godstar aint heard the others

  • @postmasterw00t you'll love the songs I quoted..

  • I LOVE Coil, TG, Chris & Cosey, Carter Tutti... but I wish all PTV material was this good, because I think it's the only song of theirs I like.

    It's gorgeous.

  • @drplbiftin Coil is amazing.

  • this song reminds me that life is the best thing we have in this existence. And if we should desire to believe in something, it should be a beacon within.

  • Beautiful

  • glad i decided to further my knowledge on coil.......... i stumbled upon Grotus, Throbbing Gristle, The Swans, and Psychic TV....... It's going to be a good day!

  • I sometimes have a hard time with Psychic TV's stuff...but this sort of thing is just so freaking beautiful...

  • kinda cutie pie.

  • love it so ...

  • Does anyone know music similar to this? I was amazed when i heard this. but the rest of the album is nothing like it, not that the other song's are bad :)

  • @vivemaker Check out Brian Eno's "Another Green World".

  • @ohfeverhead

    brian eno is excellent

  • WTF IS THAT ON THE ALBUM COVER????

  • @BootyFister It's an orchid

  • @vibr0man YOU'RE AN ORCHID!

  • @BootyFister It looks to me to be an orchid.

  • @polesaremelting YOUR FACE LOOKS LIKE AN ORCHID!!!!

  • @BootyFister it appears to be some sort of spaceship with droopy wings flown by a green mushroom figure with a massive witch's style hat on. there also appears to be a small owl flying in front of the mushroom figure's head. some sort of guide perhaps.

  • @spurtfather That's what I thought.

  • absolutely beautiful

  • thnx for downloading....most beautiful!

  • beautiful

  • probably my favorite Psychic tv song. I love almost every incarnation of TG. C&C, Psychic TV and definitely most definitely Coil .

  • hi, can you please upload the psychic tv album "sugarmorphoses"? i am looking for one of the tracks on that disc called "decoder," i think "decoder 4" but it may be called "decoder" and something other than "4." if you upload the "sugarmorphoses" disc, it would be most Mysterious.

  • seriously this song is way too good fuck

  • I would like to hear Dinosaur Jr. or sebadoh cover this,

    using a cheap/vintage tape player,

laying on a bunk bed in the middle of the night...

that's what certain tracks from the "You're living All Over Me" album remind me of

  • @AJtheory a band called "califone" has a cover of this song

  • Let's try headphone.3D sounds.

  • <3 <3 Much Love <3 <3

  • A true psychedelic beauty.

  • Great Song.!! ---> Check out Atom heart!

  • Only song I think I actually want played at my funeral. Assuming there is some sort of mp3-esque file floating around on my grandchildren's neo-ipods. I guess I should keep my copy and seal it away in an envelope with a wax stamp, so that I up the odds that my wishes will be honored.

  • This is so sweet. In a good way, sweet and nice but not treacly.

  • NO! Actually I don't like it- I LOVE IT!!!

    :-)))

  • Perfect from a Christian perspective!

  • One of my favorite songs of all time!

  • soothing , magical music. saw psychic tv when Genesis was in sf. this is a CLASSIC for the non NORMS.. ;)

  • This is a beautiful song, but I'm confused...this is apparently an industrial band? Yet nothing I've heard from them sounds industrial at all.

  • @MordaciousFilms At that point Psychic TV included Genesis P-Orridge and Peter Christopherson, formerly of Throbbing Gristle. Early on TG adopted quasi-industrial practices as a comment on how mechanized the pop music industry was, and called their record label Industrial Records. Psychic TV is "industrial" by association.

  • @MordaciousFilms Genesis coined the term "Industrial music" as a pun - music is an industry-- but really meant it to emphasize the construction of songs through sound. A song is "built" by layering sounds, mixing harmonies, adding melody to a foundation of rhythm, just as actual things are built and constructed. That's the true meaning of industrial music but it got misappropriated to mean what is now commonly called electronica--which is equally industrial in the original sense.

    Hope it helps

  • @MsWordsmith08

Psychic Tv non Trobbing Gristle, although both groups had two of its leading members. Psychic tv's approach goes beyond the fact denounce what was alleged in Throbbing Gristle. Psychic TV I think it was conceived as an expression of musical freedom in the purest and most literal sense, without barriers. They are people with an open mind as to close to one style.

  • @MsWordsmith08 Well Said!!

  • I've deprived myself by not exploring Psychic TV sooner.

  • My god... strange stuff... pretty intresting though.

    Lovely oboe playing.

  • thanx for upp

  • musical purity,very sex-magick based yet innocent

  • Anyone else feel like some sort of dark undercurrent in a lot of Psychic TV songs? Maybe it's just me associating it with TG lol.

  • genesis said in an interview on boston college radio that born-again christians played instrumentals on this one

  • @MrWeltschmerz Yeah, they are destroying the system from the inside

    thnx for posting :)

  • First of all, this song is NOT occultic. I have met Gen

and known him for almost 20 yrs. There is nothing

"occult" about him. Do NOT spread false rumors.

If people can't handle what he says(Thee Truth), then

don't listen. You don't get it anyway.

  • Gud tune. Sad it's occultick.

  • It's So occult Satan might come out of my speakers!

  • True beauty.
