Great video. Positive goals like these need to be communicated more clearly as many have incorrect ideas about what Europe is about (so called Euromyths) and this video helps in resolving that. Good job!
This is why we need nuclear power stations. James Lovelock (Mr. Gaia), as per his recent Hardtalk interview with Stephen Sackur, is entirely satisified with how the French have this technology mastered, including the so-called problem of waste management.
hey better than in America were we still argue the validity of global warming, and even wanting a need to change. of course if anything is done conservatives whine about freedoms being taken away by using a different source of power, or getting gov't healthcare. XD
i do not believe in climate change.

Bureaucracy, the works:
Goal: install a new, higher layer in the bureaucratic controll system called the EU.
Propose a puppet.
If there is a lot of opposition, they will come with an alternative. Good.
Install that alternative, then the position is secured and accepted by the public.
Get rid of the alternative, and install the puppet.
Mission accomplished.

Well, the EU recently banned incandescent bulbs, by 2011 all power in the EU has to be flourescent.

@Bozewani They only banned 100W light bulbs. But even now many people here have CFLs.

So isn't it a better idea to use solar and wind power than disallowing us to use 100W lights?
