wELL i'm not with all of you and it's based in my own experience, I saw them recently and i was amazed about how good his voice sound in fact i saw them on white pony tour and i have seen them not as much as some of you did but 5 times, and the last was the best...

This video is actually best in its poor quality. The bluish hues on the video, the effects on chino's voice, the song itself...altogether its beautifully disturbing and otherworldly.

@StevieCybernetik010 I'm pretty sure that a normal quality video wouldn't affect the quality of Chino's performance, but I do agree, the bad quality, gloomy image, etc, just gives it all an intense mood. Talk about some luck, haha. It really looks like a concert where they would all be on the floor, almost dead, just enjoying the sound.

We have to keep one thing in mind... Although Chino gained some vocal lever during the last months and sings a lot better now, he will NEVER be able again to pull out this song like he used to do back in 2000, like in this video. Making these high notes was some easy game for him, and now it is really hard, you can tell by the facial expressions he makes and by the fact his notes aren't as long as they used to be. I still want to see them live though.

Yeah, I don't know why some people think that he's as capable as he used to be. No way, he even admitted he can't hit some of the high notes anymore in an interview. Just because he's in shape now, doesn't mean he didn't do some damage with all the drinking/smoking/screaming already. That's not exactly something you can undo.

Sextape is a prime example of a song he struggles to perform live now, but if it existed during this era, he could easily handle it.

@Renulph Totally, dude. At least a fan who is not in the " CHINO CAN DO EVERYTHING " mode. Yeah, he's in shape, but he struggles to pull off some easy notes, as he didn't know he had also a diaphragm. Here, you can see how easily he nails the " Feel like more ", which not only sounds on-tune, but also sounds waaaay deeper and comes from his diaphragm.

I must agree w/Scissorz in her description of this video; I too feel this is the Deftone's best performance of Digital Bath. Chino's effort was flawless. Does anyone know what Chino screams at 2:54? I think it varies each live performance. I've never been able to discern

Well, I've listened to bunch of deftones live concerts, and I actually also thought this was the best performance ever. But I got the chance to listen to the live @ Riviere Theatre in Chicago in 2000, and Digital Bath from this concert is really THE best ever. To me anyway. If you want to give it a ear, let me know. About what Chino says at 2:54, here, it's just " Woooh, to-niight ! ", but it varies indeed, sometimes I think what he says doesn't even make sense, but it fuckin' rocks.
