I have seen these guys live in concert twice, he is actually a really good singer live. This song is exceptionally challenging and very hard on the vocals. Considering his pitch range some of the top notes would be pushing that range and he does well to reach them, even on the recording. It sounds like he is having trouble hearing the band to be honest.

@the0tobes0machine Actually, this song is NOT hard on the vocals when the person singing them can actually sing. There is a wonderful device that "The Simpsons" television show made fun of a while back that all of the real life studios and record companies use called "Auto Tune". This device allows anyone that sings into a microphone to sound like they are in tune - when in fact they are not. IE: Justin Beiber, No talent Taylor swift to name a few. Don't stick up for people who can't sing.

sorry but i agree. he stinks live. he sounds like shit. i listen to this song on my ipod at least every day and he songs so beautiful but anyone can sound good in a recording studio with all thosemachines. i have seen alot of live videos of this song and he sounds like shit in all of them.
