The 'so plane maker' was simplified version of Aeronautical Engineer. Obviuosly not simple enough. When you stopped calling the pilot a dumbass, after you realised you were wrong, instead of apologising or admitting your fault, you started to become a grammer nazi. ironically the statue he hit is what he was lowering down. it actually says in the description. This isnt the full video. The reason why he is dead is because he had to release the cable. lower it down, make sure he kept his altitude and position. Basically too much stress on the pilot.

The pilot actually might've lived from that. Usually helicopter crashes are nasty because once you lose the tail section you start to spin and when you hit the ground you just turn into a pile of scrap. But from what I can tell, once he lost both rotors on the bridge, he fell straight down, and the impact into the water was most likely lessened by the back end of the copter hitting the bridge. He's lucky the copter didn't get thrown farther out but instead slided down the bridge.
Not to be an asshole here but isn't it the pilots fault? I mean why would you hover so your props right on top of a structure... Isnt that a big NO NO? Its like he was asking for it.

ironically the statue he hit is what he was lowering down. it actually says in the description. This isnt the full video. The reason why he is dead is because he had to release the cable. lower it down, make sure he kept his altitude and position. Basically too much stress on the pilot.
A Helicopter crashes into the bridge that it is installing a statue on top of.

On 29 May 2001 a ROK Army CH-47D installing a sculpture onto a bridge in Seoul, South Korea failed to unlatch the sculpture. The helicopter's rotors struck the monument then the fuselage hit. The helicopter broke into two. Half crashed onto the bridge in flames and the other half fell into the river. All three crew members on board died.

The pilot actually might've lived from that. Usually helicopter crashes are nasty because once you lose the tail section you start to spin and when you hit the ground you just turn into a pile of scrap. But from what I can tell, once he lost both rotors on the bridge, he fell straight down, and the impact into the water was most likely lessened by the back end of the copter hitting the bridge. He's lucky the copter didn't get thrown farther out but instead slided down the bridge.
