  • ugghhh....

  • (\[0#0]/) *speechless*

  • ¬¬

  • good composition ... 5/5

  • This is awesome! I've seen your other vids and I think you rock!!

I've played guitar for 5 years and I am scared still about my own compostions. They suck compared to yours. You are awesome! -peace sign- Keep rockin!! WOOT!

  • @SnowDokuro Well, in all honesty, I don't view myself as good by any means nor do I view my compositions as such. As musicians and guitar players, we shouldn't compare ourselves to each other. I'm sure you have your own personal merits within your compositions; shredding (or rather bad shredding when I look back at this video) is not the key to great compositions. Just keep going and have fun making them; it's why we do it first place, right? XD Thanks for watching.

  • -nod nod- you do have a point. LOL

  • @CCChang3 That, my friend, was an utmost wise answer... You, bro, are GREAT and I hope you never quit the music... In fact, I would like to know your name, real or artistic, to keep it on my memory and so being able to say in the future: "Woah, man, I saw that guy when he was just starting on the guitar on Youtube, and look at him now!" :D

I have absolutely NO DOUBT that you'll grow an amazing musician, dude, keep on playing and rocking, cheers!!!!!

    Greets from Chile. ;)!!! :)

  • Great effort, I'm sure that if you put time in your playing you'll become good. I play for now almost 5 years and I definetively could'nt play like you after my first year.

    Keep on playing the guitar!!

  • @TheMylesky Shredding (or rather bad shredding when I look back at this video) is not a measure of greatness nor is it a means of gratification; I'm sure that in many ways, you possess great feel in your playing (such as vibrato, phrasing, etc) which is really what it's all about in my opinion (the speed at which you play is just another tool of expression). Thanks for watching.

  • plz make more videos..!! btw i like your videos with dual guitar...!!!

  • That was tight. How long you been playing? ... Check out my vids. Keep it up

  • At the time of that recording, less than two years. Probably a year and a half maybe. I personally feel it's sloppy and could have been better if you ask me. But then again, I guess that's what other guitarists would say about themselves when they look back at how they did in the past. Thanks for watching.

  • add some vibratoes when you bend, otherwise it sounds lifeless

  • I wasn't that good back then and I found it hard to do vibrato bends. Now though it's improved a little bit, so hopefully my next video with bends should have a little bit more life in it (should I ever make another video). Thanks for watching.

  • Alrite....i wish good luck :)

  • awesome keep playing dude!

  • CHANG MAN!

  • thats decent playing matey!!!!and anyone saying its not get a life and keep your stupid views to yourself, if your not gunna be nice and supportive dont bother saying anything. and by the way chang its rob from college!

  • u got skills but no feel...spider tapping looks gud...

  • This video's outdated and I do show better feel now in my playing. But then again, that's for you to decide when I upload another video (if I can get round to it, lol). Anyway, thanks for watching.

  • ha ha that was awesome. you should put some up to date videos so we can see how good you are now. its now 2 years of guitar right? and you look bored or like your arms getting tired cuz you keep looking around and making an irritated look lol. keep up the work

  • Well, I find it hard not to look bored (or my normal facial expression) as I playing in front of a camera. But yeah, I agree and hopefully, my next video won't have me look so bored.

  • Well it wasnt that bad buh its not abt playing fast its about the feel u put into the notes. To me it seemed u just played the notes of the minor pentatonic scale.

  • I know what you mean (I'm still asking myself how did I got 5 stars for this video). I wasn't a very good guitarist back then when it came to articulation and the feel that you put into the notes that you play. I've gotten a bit better at it now so hopefully, you may like the next video I upload (if I ever get round to it, lol). I watched your video by the way and I thought it very good, much more feel than in this video for sure. Thanks for watching and the comment.

  • WHAT THE HELL MAN! That was crappy soloing! No offense imm just pissed off that this vdo actually got a 5 star rating and has more than 2500 views

  • lol calm down unless you can do better. and if you can show a vid to prove it.

  • hey why dont you use the herman li's look? maybe they can compare you

  • I'm not that great, and plus, I don't think I would want to grow such long hair. The longest it would get is probably a bit longer than in the video by an inch or two really. Thanks for watching.

  • =D nice

  • yupp good XD

  • Great stuff , been playing guitar for about 4 months now , tough nowhere as fast and precise as you are , keep it up man.

  • It's not really that fast (in terms of finger movement) or precise. Most of it is just from picking really. If you can get your picking speed up to sratch, then you're already half-way there or something like that. Thanks for watching.

  • omg u are very very good xD and nice guitar bro

  • we have the same kind of hair

  • What amp do you use?? Anyway you're damn good guitarist ... how long do you play guitar and does anyone teach you??

  • I'm not that good a guitarist...I have a Line6 Flextone on a metal amp setting. It's got so many different tones and possibilities that I'm still tinkering with it every now and then after having it for a year. I've been playing for less than two years as of now and I taught myself via various resources on the internet. Thanks for watching.

  • very very very sloppy

  • It is improvised in some parts and I wasn't really that accurate back then. So yeah, it's bound to be.

    Thanks for watching.

  • hey wats up its hassan a friend of wiliam he told me u got some ibanez guitar is it ok if u can like review it n put it on youtube coz im thinkin of gettin an ibanez

  • Too lazy to do a review, lol. But I'll message you some details, recommendations and stuff like that to help you out.

  • good job man

  • Wow I love it ! =)

  • Is there anyway you could get the song up for download? cause i love it :P

  • Nah, sorry, it's not up for download. And plus, I don't have anyway of making it available for download in a good quality anyway. Thanks for watching.

  • Nice job man, check my guitar vids ^_^

  • heyyyyyyyyyy ed, guess whooooo??? hahhahaha, great video m8, i'm surprised you could be bothered to put it on myspace!

nah nah only joking, you rule! :D

  • Uhh...Who are you?

  • Just wow man... In a good way of course...

  • can u send me that backing track?

btw nice vid...hope u'll win the Elmore Rock Contest

  • Good Job, dude.

  • Did you do this for the Elmore Rock Contest?

  • Not originally. I wanted to make a video using my school composition as a backing track and just improvise over it (as well as play the parts I planned to play in it at school). When I heard about the contest, I decided to enter it.

    Thanks for watching.

  • What gutar is that?!

  • It's an SG made by "Vintage". It's not an exceptionally great guitar. It's very good for its price though and it does the job. Though, it's not really a shredding guitar if that's what you're thinking; I just improvised randomly to my backing track at the end.

    Thanks for watching.

  • nice work ed! tis shaun btw

  • How did you find this video?

  • Oh and thanks for the comment btw.

  • great solo!
