@serg3y You would need to download the Microsoft Intelipoint software from the Microsoft website for free and install it. During Setup, it will ask you to select your mouse model, but you can just select any model. Once the software is installed, you will need to go to 'Start' > 'Control Panel' > 'Mouse'. In that panel you can select different functions for each button on your mouse. Set one of your mouse buttons to "Magnify". (the "mouse wheel" button would be best).
I have Stargardt's Disease too, and a hp touchsmart like you. I just use the window's magnifier and Dock it at the top of the screen usually. I have used hte mouse that you are talking about at College in the disability center. I just can't seem to get used to it though.
Thanks Bluetech. I'm going to make a video soon that will demo the cell phone I have and all the great features it has to make it easy to use with low vision.
That is great I need something like that I am visualy impaird I have a rare condition called Nystabmus it is an uncontrolable eye movement where the eyeball can not stay still so it is difficult for me to read anything with standers prinr and I am blind in one eye. Nice video.
I love this mouse. The on-screen magnifier feature works great on ALL programs where the ctrl' scroll wont work. I paid $50 at Staples, with a coupon (-$20) and ended up only paying $30 bucks.
is it possible to use the software without buying the mouse?

Thanks for this video and demonstration. Here's another great new vision product - The Pop Up Microlite.
It will illuminate your remote control so you can actually read it!
