just got back from les arc . rode the turbo dream everywhere AGAIN, past my feed back to k2 , just a few things to improve the board was the topsheet is easly chipped and needs to be reinforced , also there is no need for any rocker on the tail . this will allow more stable riding and more pop .... as i have been riding for 18 years they took head and will release something with no tail rocker next season . keep an eye out for next years k2 products
@Bthackrey No need for rocker in the tail huh? Maybe you should stick to freeride boards then. For of us all-mountain freestyle riders, we prefer the nose and tail to be symmetrical for switch riding. Sounds like you're a better fit for the Ride HighLife.
i am 5,11" and weigh 74 kg ,boot size uk 8 so went with the 2010 159 Turbo Dream ( my gyrator is 161 ) and my jib board is a 151 .. the T,D rides as if it is shorter than the size it is . with a good hot wax it really accellerates too . edge to edge control feels soo stable , the side cut allows for effortless carving .the tip and tail are nice and stiff also very light swing rate for park riding
this is the best board i have owned . rode this everywhere in the Cairngorms. powder riding is my favorite , i have an 08 gyrator too so can highly recommend this as it is stiffer and more responsive . the rocker on the T,D is perfect .. dude you will love this board from the minute you start riding it .. good choice
